This mod seems to break the megastructure cap settings from gigastructures. As in if its set to unlimited then it acts as though its set to one. I have tested and it seems to be this mod thats doing it.

@sjru The Dyson Spheres you unlock via a Normal Giga run (Its a rare tech) & the System Craft one should be a rare tech you can find after getting all the Stellar Manipulation Ascension Perks

The Megastructures are controlled by policies, though unfortunately setting the policy will make it auto dismantle when it's done with a single stage. Personally I'd prefer if the structure finished a harvest / injection stage and then gave the option to continue up, down, or dismantle. But that might be too hard to do.

What triggers the tech for O dyson spheres and the hull for planetcrafts? I can't get to have it despite having like all the techs unlocked

An update: it doesn't prevent you from collecting extra resources, and after editing some mod files, (interface/resource_groups) I can get it to show up in game. Looks like this mod was written before ehof resources and supertensile material were added. You can fix it yourself by comparing the mod files between this mod and gigastructures in the steam workshop folder and adding the difference (specifically, compare interface/resource_groups/topbar_other_resource_groups.txt.

I'm not sure if this works with the current version of gigastructures. When its loaded. it overwrites sentient metal and supertensile material in the strategic resources list, and appears to prevent monthly collection of those materials. After playing for an hour or so, I had lost a majority of my stock to ship upkeep, even though when unloading the mod at the same time, I have positive income.

You have in your localization file, in one line something strange and may lead to a bug description (don't know yet, haven't played):
"allow_o_class_war_system:0 "RAllows for the construction of EO-ClassR Systemcrafts, way more powerful than our regular systemcrafts"" There is a non-printable character in the line several times (seen when viewed through a text editor, looks like 2 brackets or otherwise, letters on a black background, copy and paste it can not). It comes before "RAllows" and before and after "EO-Class".

Nvm, turns out turning instant build on sets your resource cap to 1 million. I'd still check the harvester though.

I just ran a test game and my energy storage never went past a million, regardless of research storage tech of building kugo silos, is this normal? If so then the build cost makes building a systmecraft with this literally impossible to build, cheers.

Also possible bug, when my harvester shut down from lack of plasma there was no option to restart it.

the decisions no longer exist, they got replaced by a megastructure that does both, and it happening step by step is intended, it was just broken before. About the retrofit tech was removed as well

I think this might have been caused by ZoFE, but none of the techs from this mod have shown up besides the systemcraft printer and the first stellar plasma tech - the stellar retrofit tech never showed up, and I can't access the decisions to grow/shrink stars, so I'm stuck with the actual mega that only grows/shrinks them one step at a time before needing to be rebuilt and doesn't actually change what the stars look like.

BTW, latest update is not savegame compatible. From what I can see, code has been refactored from star_manip prefix to stellar_manip prefix so if you load an old savegame with the updated mode, the megastructures are inactive, lack any descriptive text, and the decisions do not appear. Probably should be a temporary warning about this.

Problem: A glitch I have is that the Harvest Stellar Matter decision is not appearing.

Solution: I found downloading the Stellar Mass Building corrected this problem for me.

There's an issue in common\megastructures\stellar_injector.txt, the closing bracket in line 303 doesn't close anything. I'd guess line 289 was added erroneously since there's two closing with the same spacing and I don't think the "ar" string there does anything.

I encountered a bug after I printed a few systemcrafts they just vanished and I can't print any they just vanish once the building period is over

Before the gigastructure completes, you simply have to resettle any pops on settled planets in the system the gigastructure is being built so the colony disbands. If you do, the gigastructure completes. Seems the bug originates from Gigastructures itself, if an event removes all planets and hits one with population. Probably something the Gigastructure mod has to solve..

solved it!

uninstall Gigas Stellar Manipulation
reinstall Gigas Stellar Manipulation
set Gigas Stellar Manipulation to load imediately affter gigas
restart computer

no idea if all steps are necessary, but it worked
