Hi! I will be glad if you get acquainted with this kind of chess. This is a three-dimensional chess otherwise called tavrel. The figures follow the classical rules, but with some differences:

-the figures are not eaten, but captured, standing on it, forming a tower.
-you can be released from captivity by taking this tower in your figure
-towers can be divided as the game progresses.

Cool collection. I wish my Take Two Chess was here, though my variant doesn't seem too popular at the moment.

I suggest you add my mod called "Smess: the Ninny's Chess!" I am going to be working on improving it with an HD gameboard and actual models for the pieces in future, but it is a fun chess variant that's playable now.
