I am familiar with RTW modding, and can't diagnose the problem. I've moved all the Rebel armies/fleets to isolated locations and surrendered their regions to a different faction (did not work).
I've searched the mod files for references to the year 425, and removing them does not work.
I am using an unmodified version of the base game/mod. Really wish I knew about this before starting, but I had a good time for 32 turns.
And although this mod clearly won't be updated, having scripted rebellions (like the way the East and West Rebels start) based on year triggers as well as multiple waves of Hunnic Hoardes starting in different locations and even emergent factions like the Gassonids would make this the best BI mod for Remastered.
I am unfortunately not sure if I started my campaign after the 8th of may...
Would be interested to know if ,for people who started the campaign after that date, the game still crashes.
However, up to this point, it was a challenging and refreshing experience to play as the British Roman.
I only wished, that I would also get Pagain Generals:)
This will help resolve the issue faster.
