Great mod but it needs an update, it crashes the game sometimes

Last time, I tried upscaling the medium flags as much as possible without making them awkwardly go outside the diplo window box, or overlap each other in the country select screen. I don't think increasing their size any further would look good, unless other elements in those windows have their positions changed (which is beyond the scope of this mod).

If you still wish to increase their size further, and you've got Photoshop, PaintNET or an equivalent program, you could edit the modfiles to which ever size you want them to be.

Goto:
...\steamapps\workshop\content\236850\2646311197\gfx\interface

... in your Steam install folder, and edit:
- shield_frame.dds
- shield_frame_plus.dds (optional)
- shield_great_power_frame.dds
- shield_mask.tga
- shield_thin_glow.dds (optional)

(backup your edits in another folder, in case Steam restores them)

"shield_mask.tga" decides the actual size of the flag in-game, upscale it in tandem with the overlay filters in the other files.

A day after I asked about the flag size, you posted an update. That's awesome. I honestly feel bad for even asking at this point, but you miss every shot you don't take. Is it possible to make the medium (diplo) flags maybe just bit larger? This mod is already perfection and I don't see myself ever going back to banners. Thanks for your work.

Is there any way to make the flags slightly larger in Diplo window? Your nations flag is the perfect size, however it's fun to view the other flags and they are all quite small. Besides that, this mod is phenomenal alongside the adjusted format mod.

When I select the ships the game crashes, it happens to me even at the beginning of the game.

Yeah, the old Great power border was kinda crap so I updated it. To disable it completely you'd have to replace the file in the mod with an empty image.

Goto:
...steamapps\workshop\content\236850\2646311197\gfx\interface
and edit "shield_fancy_great_power_overlay.dds" to be completely blank in photoshop or paintNET .

wow i see you acted immidiatelly to my request, thank you so much, thing is.. it didnt really fix it. what i mean by great powers glow, when you play a country you have the flag top left corner but if that country is a gp then it glows all the time and u cant see it well. if you can fix that you are amazing

amazing but, is it possible to remove the yellow glow u get from being a great power? it kinda ruins the flag
