For anyone looking at this these days...This works for 1.4, its OP and fun in that OP or RP kind of way, it has range like a mortar and is quite accurate.

I think normal lightning in rimworld barely does any damage and just lights you on fire

Meanwhile, this mod's lightning just destroys pretty much anything it hits

Anyone find out a way to edit the files so the lightning strike is more.... normal?

Hello @Halituis Amaricanous, the EMP explosions are just a way to 'spawn' in the lightning strike. The lightning itself comes after the EMP explosion.

@Halituis Amaricanous It says an EMP Blast *and then* a lightning strike hits afterwards.

So if it takes damage from lightning impacts, I'd suspect that this would work on it.

@Burgerpants well description said EMP, and didn't relay mention any explosive so figured it was an anti-machine weapon.

Also to at people you have to write the full name even if it has a space so for me it would be "@Halituis Amaricanous"

Seems cool, but if you wanna say this consumes a lot of power, you should increase it up from the 300W-450W. A sun lamp uses 2900W; a chemfuel generator could run 2-3 of your lightning satellites. For balance reasons alone they could use a boost in power consumption.
