the alarm sound is only going to the right. when you walk to the left the alarm is silent. Testes with all alarms.

No worries about the late response, I successfully managed to make my own version with sounds and stuff, adds Subnautica Cyclops AI voices, and another adds some of the AI voices from Prey

@The_Rapture345 Apologies for the delayed response. This kind of mod is extremely simple, thankfully, just a few .xml files and whatever sound files you want to add. When I was learning how to make this mod, I just looked at some of the other alarm mods on the workshop and copied their file structure. If you want to look at this mod's files, just go to your Steam folder -> steamapps -> workshop -> content -> 602960 -> 2638494991, and you'll be able to see exactly how it's laid out.

I was more thinking the number of psychosis effects, like, statistically. If you're inside the ship and there's (theoretically) 12 psychosis sound effects, and 2 of them are the default alarm sounds in the game, then there's a 1/5 chance of hearing alarms. But if you add more alarms, say, 40 alarms, then you're gonna be hearing alarms, statistically, constantly. And that might be annoying.

@Fragile That's a good point though. These alarms are annoyingly loud as it is, might be too obnoxious to have them coming in and out for psychosis.

@Fragile That's a great idea! I have no idea how to do that off the top of my head (or if it's even possible - psychosis effects might be hardcoded), but I'll look into it.

@A Person Interesting...I just copied the data for the vanilla alarms for mine, so I expect the issue is that it's just much more noticeable since these ones are louder. I'll look into whether I can tweak it to fall off more smoothly next time I'm in a Baro phase. Sorry for the problem.

Is it possible to add some of these (some) alarms into Psychosis? Or would it overshadow the amount of other effects?

There seems to be an incredibly jarring drop off issue where alarms 1-13 and 24-38 will instantly go from full volume to off at the edge of their range.

I tried your suggestion, it stays off now thank you.
I hooked it back up to the (new) monster detection system and no alarms. Last time i switched one of the detectors to "human" and alarm went off, so success! But it didn't deactivate after putting the sensor back to "monster". I'll keep testing. Thank you again!

@El Loco As far as I can tell, the alarms do shut off properly as long as they're wired correctly -- if you place the problem alarm and wire a button to its toggle_state (make sure nothing else is connected) and then press it, does that turn it off?

@Chapita When you connect to a server, the game matches your mod load order exactly to the load order of the host, including prompting you to download mods that you don't have. So as long as the host has the mod installed, anyone that wants to join should just have to accept the prompt to download it when they join your server. They won't have to go and find it in the workshop themselves. Does that answer your question?

nice mod, but I have a slight doubt, if I have a submarine edited in vanilla is it necessary that to play multiplayer all my friends have this mod? Or just having the same submarine would it work?
