is it just my luck or are there some other factors in violent conversions? in my original colony i did 4 violent conversions and they all refused and died, but when testing it was fine and they were converted? is it really just a 50/50?

The issue with my game was that my ideoligion didnt have the 'Exalted Priesthood' meme enabled, which is the one that adds the ability. I had added the 'Republic' trait which adds more leader roles, but it doesnt add 'Convert (Leader)'. 'Exalted Priesthood' adds both the roles and the abilities, while 'Republic' only adds the roles. That was the issue for me. Just posting this to clear things out, my friend helped me to find this out; and the reason I couldnt get the abilities is because I added the second and third Triumvir roles to my colony by editing the ideoligion through devmode, anyway I fixed it now by adding the Exalted Priesthood meme!

It literally just appears in the same way as the moral guide's ability, but on the leader

I can't find the part of this page that tells me what the Convert (Leader) ability do or how to use it. At first you'd think its usable just like the Moral Guide's Convert ability, but it's not, it doesnt show in the HUD and I can't find in the mod description, can anyone help me? I subscribed to this thread

hi sarg,
the workshop is lacking mods that add blank roles that just add higher expectations.
would be fancy to have that available, like a simple nobility role, just for roleplaypurposes (e.g. for the leader's wife), or maybe with a tiny artistic speed boost.
can you maybe add such a role to VME?
shintoism kinda requires that. tenno + kogo, shogun, daimyo, makes 4 leader roles, and it makes it even harder that 2nd + 3rd leaders don't have the "male/female title" difference.

I think I've found a bug with the bugs.

Pawns with "Insectoid Supremacy" meme still (for some reason) get the positive mood buff of +4 for "Insect hive defeated".
It kinda breaks my immersion a bit when one mood debuff says killing an insectoid is a "stain on my soul" and the other one literally says "THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!" lmao

Seems like the nomad precept does not interact with Odyssey's ship system, considering it a home base in-itself and thus my colonists get a mood debuff for not travelling despite changing location multiple times :(.

I'm sorry, I just want to clarify. I'm starting a new game on a problem seed like "bowler hat" with only this mod installed using "classic like" as a static ideology (but any of them have the issue) and other factions are generating a another static ideology with the Eldritch type but they aren't getting the corruption: required precept.

Also, maybe I'm misunderstanding, but when you say with a fluid ideology, are you saying you can be an Eldritch Cult structure without the Corruption:Essential precept? because I can only seem to remove "Corruption: Essential" from the precept list with dev mode when Eldritch Cult is active (or by changing the Structure from Eldritch Cult to a different Structure like Christian, but that's expected behavior.)

I just want to make sure I'm not missing something because these mods are as great as their interactions are complex.

I've submitted a bug report to the Google form related to other factions with the Eldritch Cult structure not inheriting the Corruption: Essential precept. I'm just leaving a note here in case others find they get a pawn that can't be recruited and doesn't have a corruption bar. You'll have to add the precept with dev mode.

Just had a random issue pop with ALL my pawns suddenly showing a dessert need. They're not addicted in the health tab and I do not have anything in my ideology for this.
It just showed up randomly after I realized they were moody. Is there any way to track down what is causing this?
