They'll burrow to their next location when at full happiness.

I'll find a way to make this a bit more clear in game, but you don't lead them back just yet!
You need to find all of the Munchkins in the area and get them to full happiness, when they're all happy they'll burrow away to the next zone.
Repeat about 2 more times and they'll take a nap. That's when you bring them all back!

After a while they start following me and when i try to lead them back to their parents they seem to hit some kind of invisible border that prevents them from going any further. is there any way i can fix this?

UPDATE!:
Munchkins will now follow the player when they're fully tired. Round them up with their friends and tire them all out!
