Is it active on the server as well?
Not sure how it works if the server runs with "validated mods" or whatever it is called. That setting prevents client side mods unless I completely misremember.

Currently not working for me on MP server 41_78_7. Plays vanilla sound.

this should be added to vanilla either as an option or as default, the VA shown in the video is pretty good though i dont think it would fit female characters maybe a pitch change can be a easy fix

My heart thanks you, a zombie casually strolling by a window caused the sound effect and the noise alone made me damn near piss myself it was so startling

@sync01 Surprise! Alert Sound has a female version with gasping. Their male version has voice-lines tho which I'm not too much of a fan of. Go check that one out I recommend! :)

For example,It would be even better if we could add a female voice and select it with the mod option.
