@CELIA RASGA LATA they heal very slowly, the game has them with a long heal time because it isn't expected you to live through them

@Guybrush Treepwood cool name! as for the pill, the pill only works once. after that you have to take the Zombi-Gone

Sorry to bother, but is possible that the pill bugged the save? i used a second pill (debbug mode ,unfortunatly i don't whant to lose this character) and it seems to have bugged the zombification process, even using the pill evey 2-3 days i start to turn, any help? Its fixable? or i have to use debbug for curing me?

I apologize, I did not mean to offend or make you think I didn't think your idea was good. I failed to implement it correctly multiple times and I have no good excuse other than my brain just not working properly. I wholeheartedly wanted to implement the design you wanted and it was totally my fault it was not done properly.

@DinDin very possible, it is an interesting idea. i feel though there are already some great cure mods to download, this was more of a one-time get out of jail free card with a suppression. It was unique at the time and a lot of creative people came up with some more chemical/biological methods of devising a cure. i find those mods to be much more impressive and better for expected game play of a cure being developed versus my attempt, this was my first mod and thus was a very unique experiment for me. however, i am glad that people still subscribe and enjoy the feel, I have i think extended the time now for Zombi-Gone so you should get 1-2 days extra before the infection sets back in.

There are IMHO too many mods for PZ that are duplicates in some fashion. Making Zombi-Gone be the cure is a cheap way to make a cure because very little resources are required and thus would make it too easy. There are mods that provide a cure much better designed and developed. Being infected is very problematic and one way to be how you died.
Zombi-Gone is unique as it is a way to delay the inevitable, it gives your character a chance to accomplish a few things before the end. However, I have considered researching a way to give an extended time frame when using Zombi-Gone, such as 1 or 2 days, before the infection starts to build up and makes your character useless again as it is currently not long before you are sick. This might be a middle of the ground solution that you are requesting, it would make it be made less often but you would still need to make it and have resources available to do so.

Thanks for the updates! Please, what should I change to get ZombieGone to work like ZombieCure? I would like to use it like this: ZombieGone to cure definetivelly, that is to say, that the item crafted with First Aid lvl 5 works like the first pill - the one you spawn with.

@Tickler of Dragons So, it has been a minute since I worked on this mod. The pill only cures you once, if you have been bitten again it won't help you. If you have made multiple characters or somehow have multiple pills, it is a one-time thing. I had forgotten this detail after having made it.

hmm... i am not sure, unless there is some mod preventing it from working. it should cure the zombie infection. you might also be sick as well.

@CorkyJaguar sorry, I took a long hiatus and have just returned. I hope you were able to find it, as it seems when I returned it seemed fine. This may have been fixed in a later patch? Not sure.

Hi. I have the mod on my server but I can not find it in the crafting menu. I have triple checked the mod ID and Workshop ID but still not showing ingame. It has worked before I updated the server to the new 41.68 branch. Please help

Just so I'm understanding it. The suppression pill removes the symptoms of zombie infection, and prevents you from turning for a few days, but is not a full cure right?

The Mod ID according to the mod.info file is ZombieCure but its listed as ZombieCureMod on this page. ZombieCure is the correct one. I just reset my server and now no matter what mode i choose( or neither one) nobody gets the pill. I can manually give people the pill via admin command so i know the mod is loaded, but for some reason nobody gets a pill anymore. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Yeah, I am not sure what is going on, Mod works perfectly fine in Single Player, I can see the recipe in the crafting menu, however on the server I don't see the recipe at all. I thought it may be in Hardcoremode by default or something, but I don't think that is it.

@BFDave ensure you have the Zombie Cure Mod enabled on the client, when launching PZ and are at the main menu click on Mods then click on Zombie Cure Mod or ensure it says Enabled

Excuse my newbness, I don’t see the options to change the hardcore or zombrex. I see where default is false (even though I’m pretty sure both were either true or the mod wasn’t working/loading correctly. Thanks!

Ok so i did some testing and the zombie cure that you spawn with gives error 1 when consumed and does not do anything. But the ZombieGone works without issue

there are now toggle options for Zombrex and Hardcore mode!
