Hi, it would be very nice if the switch was not caped to 10 secondes. Sometimes it's really usefull to put an automatic off after 60 seconds. Maybe you can add an option to do that

This is not a switch, Its a "pulse button" ;-)

Heads up, latest update from Klei (beta U47-559761-V) breaks/crashes the game when clicking on any momentary switch that's on the map. Installed version is v1.0.3

Hello ! I just gave it a try, and it still works fine. Both in research, construction and behavior.
Are you sure the mod is enabled ? Also make sure you're using the latest version (1.0.3 at the time of writing)

Hi I love this but since the update it's missing from my build menu. When I look at the SmartHome in the ResearchTree it doesn't display it either.

The button cannot be selected in the automation view. I would say it's not identified as an automation type building when entering said context. It's just a really minor hitch.
What I do is select the button before I enter the automation overlay. This way I can watch all the stuff that happens when I press the button. :steamhappy:

I would love to use this Momentary Switch for Radbolt releases from Radbolt Chamber. However, the current interval is a little too long and will release 2 bolts with 1 press.

Are you intending to implement the configurable pulse duration? Thank you very much for the mod.

@pether.pg I'm seriously considering adding the configurable pulse duration. It will probably range from 0.2 to 5 seconds. If more you'll have to add a buffer gate.

@rahmathiroyuki I'm a controls engineer and we call this kind of switch a momentary push button. Pulse switches pass square waves (signal highs and lows) at a pre-determined frequency when they're activated.

I don't know Chinese, but if you want to contribute, feel free to open a pull request on Github.
All you have to provide is a "ch.po" file, based on the this file [github.com]. Replace the text after "msgstr" keyword
