Any news, as now the dlc Aquatic, and even Overlord have been released ?

Can confirm, proclaimed the Imperium as a machine empire, cannot be Crisis

This mod doesn't seem to work. I'm not able to become the crisis even after proclaiming the Galactic Imperium

@barkertommy43 I haven't played in a bit, so am a bit rusty with modding. I plan to get back into it when the Aquatics pack releases, and I'll be doing a sweep of all my mods along with that.

Despite the warning about the version mismatch, it may still work anyway as I don't recall the affected scripts being changed. If you've tried it and it doesn't work, please let me know of any issues you encountered, as it will make updating easier!

@Aphelion The solution is simple. Keep the Fanatic Purifier alive till you need the menace.

I've always found it weird that the star-destroying superweapon was mutually exclusive with becoming the senate.

@dragatus True, but it's just so much faster to genocide a couple planets and wipe an empire or two of the map.

Menace can be built up easily enough simply by having vassals.

Although, purging pops and cracking worlds to build up the menace required to get to that point may do the job of making them hate you anyway, but that's technically avoidable.

Surprisingly, no. At the highest level of crisis you have a -200 opinion modifier with everyone, but if you were already on good terms with most of them they'll just put up with your shenanigans.
