I like it! My only nitpick would be that the portholes seem further away then the portholes on other elven lords, and so their heads seem small compared to other elven lords.

I don't recommend SFO, but I don't expect it to conflict. It will work fine with OvN. I would wager it also doesn't conflict with elf reskins, though depending how the reskin was structured I can't promise it won't. You'll have to try it and find out yourself.

I fixed the issue (hopefully) and uploaded a hotfix patch for my mod.
@piercebuster the following is no offense, but it would have been nice if you contacted me after you heard their are compatibility issues - to fix them together.
You now have to do nothing because the problem is already fixed.

From what i can tell, it's cause this mod has scripts that relates to spawning their own Lirazel. As well as a bunch of table entries relationg to her.

They spawn on the map, not in the lord pool.

One way to fix the models of turning Lich priest is tick "Male" from:

campaign_character_art_sets_tables

Then again, it may cause some other heroes to glitch. The plus side is you can switch the gender mid campaign without breaking your save.

I take it these are legendary lords that will spawn in the pools of each faction? Sorry if I don't completely understand. Also, is this compatible with Mixu's Legendary lords? My only concern there is for Saphery as Mixu adds a legendary lord for that faction.

@Gleen Cross For me, I just find tables and scripts that are related to them and delete them all.

In your case, have you tried enable only one mod and see if the model is still bugged? If, yes, then the problem is with the mod itself and you might want to delete them if you can't fix it (which I don't know how too.)
Or if you enable just that mod and it works fine, no bugged model, then the problem lies with some other mods that you might have to spend some times finding it. (eg. some mods that might have units in the same name.)

@Gleen Cross Not Lthelis' characters, the Lirazel that turned into Lich priest was from the mod I gave link below but this Lthelis mod also has some Lirazel tables and scripts that were not in used . (This mod doesn't spawn Lirazel). I think that's why they conflict and resulted in Lich priest bug.

@lc1999 Interesting, so you figure it out why the Lthelis characters were turned to something else? I have a backup of one of his mods, a "race pack" so to speak, that added metal sorceresses, tower master, disciple of khaine, knights of clar karond (pretty cool units), dark pegasus riders, drakira claws and soul skulls... It still works, but the metal sorcerer hero shows up as a dwarf thane. I am willing to re-upload this mod, but I can't fix this thane issue. If anybody is interested, I can provide my backup. It pains me to get rid of it because I really like the tower masters, later they can be upgraded to lords of oblivion and etc.. a cool concept

TL;DR : Lirazel is now a properly handmaiden, not a lich priest for me.


Same problem, Lirazel turned in to Lich Priest, from this mod (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1729327148)

I used RPFM to take a look inside the file and found out there are tables' info and scrips for spawning Kouran and Lirazel (which they won't spawn in this mod anyway, idk why)

I have tried to delete those tables and scripts (for both Lirazel and Kouran, even Kouran has no problem but well he is not there in-game anyway.) and it seems to work fine.haven't tested much yet but I can start Avelorn campaign without problem and Lirazel is now handmaiden.

I could share the file with "piercebuster" so he can update it.Or anyone wanna use it can tell me in this comment section. I believe it would generate no problem at all, since in this mod, Kouran and Lirazel are not in the mod anyway.

Can confirm what Nehylen said about this mod changing the model of Lirazel from this mod:

With all my mods active she´s a lich priest and only with the HE LL mod and this one she´s a dryad...so there has to be another mod involved that conflicts with your mod regarding Lirazel.

Nevertheless, everything is running fine for me without this mod, so I guess I simply pass here.

I found out I needed to set the game in RPFM so I could decode those tables.I then proceeded to remove anything Lirazel in the mod, even the commented out script, and the package allowed me to boot into an Averlorn game without problem.

But that didn't change a thing. Uninstalled TWW2 completely, backed up the folder, deleted the game cache files, but the issue remains exactly the same with the fresh install, whether using the 2 freshly re-downloaded mods, or red's mod + my submodded version of this one without Lirazel references (her bow, abilities, traits, etc...).

I'm at a loss: it doesn't make much sense that activating this mod would trigger something that's not even in there, as I've entirely removed all references to Lirazel.

I'll try that. For the tomb king hero, my assumption is that a 3rd mod must have some Lirazel dead code in there too, and somewhat gets activated both by the dead code for Lirazel in your mod (as just deactivating it renders her back to normal), and the active one in Legendary HE mod.

Removing all references/resources for Lirazel or her abilities in what I can actually read/modify in RPFM just ended up with TWW2 crashing to desktop.

Being a software engineer, I roughly understand what's going on when opening the mod in RPFM, but some files are unreadable to it, and I assume that's where I could obtain some definitive answer.
I'll try and see what I can do about that.

Whatever that tomb-kings unit is, that unit card isn't in the vanilla game.

Try re-installing both this mod and the other high elf mod.
I'm not able to replicate your bug, so the problem seems to be on your end.

I'd indeed tried with all my other mods active.

So after deactivating all of them, I just used the 2 mods alone, and the behaviour changes a bit: now I have the Dryad hero on the campaign map instead of Lirazel, and some weird assembly of dryad limbs on the battle map: https://imgur.com/a/jzBG4NZ
Oddly enough, it does shoot arrows!

The order in which they're launched doesn't seem to affect the outcome at all from my testing.

This is the mod. I cant say for sure if it is the reason for @Nehylens Problem, but the replacement of some heroes and lords with tomb king versions stopped when i unsubscribed from it.

it was an answer to nehylen, i just forgot the @, sry. Its not with this mod per se but i noticed that some Models get overwritten when using "The Amber Kingdom"-Mod with others. Im gonna look up the link for that mod.

What is the "blood elves mod"? (link)
What "things" *exactly* are changed to tomb priests?

Additionally:
Is it visual only or does it change other attributes like stats and abilities?
Is this is campaign, battle, or both?
Are you able to provide a screenshot of the issue?
*Have you confirmed that the bug is tied to this mod by turning this mod off?*


Alternatively if you're just trying to help Nehylen troubleshoot their own issue, thank you for trying to help.

Thanks for the mod, and the recent fix with Mixu's LL2!

As for myself, I've noticed a conflict with RedDragon0908's 'Legendary High Elven Characters (Legendary Lords and Ladies)' : both include Lirazel (recycled hero, if I understand properly), so having both makes Lirazel have the appearance and icon of a tomb king hero, even though she's commented out from spawning in your mod.
Her bow is effectively shooting ankhs now. :D

If you're referring to Nanu's, it adds humans, but still has the entire undead roster and even more undead things. It's not very loreful.

These are custom units. They work the same as any custom units with an overhaul: they work but have different statlines from the rest of the overhaul. Whether those stats are close or far is up to you. I will not make an SFO version.
