If I were to use it with CubeBound, would you recommend NekiBound or Nekify?

It won't corrupt your saves, but it may spawn NPCs with hairstyles that don't exist in vanilla, which will make said NPCs go bald with it uninstalled :)

So is this mod safe to both add but also remove again without problems for save game?

@pakari yeah i love that mod! but they're quite far away from Glitch in terms of design, they are as you said, robot neki instead. But thankyou, it's a great recommendation!

There's a separate mod called the Mechaneki. It doesn't replace the Glitch, but adds robot Neki as a separate race.

Neki Glitch would look adorable! there's a mod called the Hitch that looks to nekify them a little but the body is too complicated and far from the original for my taste, maybe it could be something you look at?

This has been asked multiple times here in the comments before, so I've added a few lines in the beginning of the mod's description to clarify :3

In short, Nekify is a texture replacement, and the standalones are merely parts of it :)

Are the standalone versions proper standalone races? Personally like the new designs, they look wonderful but do enjoy keeping the orginal race itself

If you mean custom races, then I'd have to draw each and every one of them manually, which would be... a lot of work, and probably not worth the effort since most are already unique enough on their own.

There is a separate Neki race, as well as stand-alone Neki reskins of the other races.

Wanted to say I LOVE this mod concept, but I also love my originals too. Please inform when you have created the "Nekify Race" that will be when I REALLY have fun. "Oh Floran as a Neko is just effing cute! love the Image~"

The full Nekify isn't, because of the clothes and wings.
The standalone parts, however, are - with the exception of the clothes and wings :3

its still crashing with the 0.8 version so i guess i'll have to write those characters off. more peeved about the building materials one of them was holding than anything else.

According to the log, it happens because the wings belong to a different mod, which you don't have installed. The ones mentioned are present only in the Neki species mod, but not in Nekify - the two are different.

Install Neki temporarily to be able to access these characters.

weirdly, it only crashes on my old characters (aka anything made before the 8th). new characters that i created today work fine

i have a feeling its not something you can fix on your end, and that I would have to dig into the actual character JSON files to remove what ever is causing the crashes.

Could you please share what the log says when it crashes?
The only thing changed is their crafting recipe, which shouldn't affect existing ones...

since the last update, my games been crashing because of the one of the cosmetic back wing items. its corrupted my characters. still works with new characters, but can't load my old ones. not the end of the world, but a bit annoying. (also a bow called spiritbolt, but i don't think thats this mod)

this was the only mod that updated for me in the past 3 days

I went through as many popular/older mods as I could find and made sure that Nekify takes priority over the ones I've found to be doing the exact same thing(s), such as Alt Heads, Anime Eyes, Cutebound variants, HWTBUT and GRoTU, just to name a few. This should resolve many cases of Nekify not working as intended for those unaware of having those installed.

I took extra care to not include mods that do unique stuff, such as Novatails Revival or Floran Fangs for example, so if you have those mods or similar installed and Nekify doesn't work properly - they're the reason.

I've also updated the tail animations to the Neki ones, they're smoother. Enjoy :3

so,i areadly found something,i ran the game without removing anything,and the mod seem to be working,even on the character creation it says "nekihuman",etc,but the actual character sprite its wrong,only one side of the ears is showing,and the tail is gone,this goes also for the nekifloran and nekinovakid.

gonna do some other tests here,uninstalling older mods,the new ones,if i do come up with a fix i will bump here.

Nekify and NekiFU don't have anything in common, Nekify is a cosmetic mod that affects vanilla races, while NekiFU is a patch for the Neki species only, so I don't see how they could be incompatible.

What does the log say?

um,does nekify has some sort of incompatibility with nekiFU?,im asking that because i booted the game today and played for a while,and i noticed halfway that nekify wasn't working anymore,before installing nekiFU it was working just fine,but also that was before you updated this mod,so..

i also have installed a few other mods too,but i think its unlikely that those are the ones causing the problem,if its really on my end then i'll have to remove the most recent installed mods one by one

One without the items, that is - and others who don't have it installed won't see your hair if they don't have it as well, but otherwise completely clientside...
