I was wondering if you had some free time to go over how this mod works in detail. Im wanting to make a mod based off this one and i was wanting to understand yours better

hey found a minor error in the log for your mod nothing big that could cause a crash but the error will be listed every time its used

Hyperspace Jump (Homeworld) defines 3D sounds that are stereo (must be mono for 3D). That’s a known crash trigger when those sounds initialize/play.
→ Example lines: “must be in mono, got 2 channels.”

could you assist with making a warp using this feature?, theres a warp from a show that works like this, its jus the wrong shape and colour from it

main cockpit will affect how the window will form as well, it orients itself off of the main cockpit

...Jump Window seems to...develop 90 degrees left from forward...and it still allows the normal jump animation to run, for me... but i'mma double check my modlist before confirming the animation thingy

also big problem, that effect works with big frame, with small ones, that come to each ship block, u can't pain em ther always blue, like on screenshot

with proto it works, but if u have scripts etc, it will ruin it after 1 jump, cuz recreate ship block by block

I assume it adjusts to the size of your ship, but if there is a "too big" I just assume it looks scuffed

I wish you could change the size ratio of this. Make it more rectangular to fit the ship proportions better

I've been wondering about changing the hyperspace window for a while, a Stargate themed window would be amazing as well as a Halo themed slipspace window. I'm a big fan of this mod!
instead of a square, there being a circular or effect like clouds and effects the ship disappearing into the effects (a lot like elite dangerous) I'm not sure how feasible that is, I have no modding experience.
I do love this mod and what it does is amazing great work!

is there an easy way to change this to be like the hyperspace windows in stargate? this is the closest thing i can find to that but its not close enough. i am working on a cinematic with a stargate theme, and this would be perfect for that, if i can easily change the effect visuals and audio

I found a bug with the fish tank that was just add to the game, if you jump a grid with a fish tank on it, the game will crash when the jump window touch the fish tank

I have tried this with different saves ones with only this mod but nothing works i even reinstalled SE it just doesnt work fullstop and i cant upload grids steam doesnt let me for some stupid reason

Just want to add my thanks for creating this mod. I recently built myself a Kiith Somtaaw Processor, and having this jump effect really does help to bring the build together.

So a question I have about this, is it possible to link it to only activate through a custom data command instead? That way we can have different jump-drive / hyperspace effects? I know some people really like the elite dangerous effect but I'm way more partial to the homeworld one.

The hyperspace effect sometimes goes sideways. Is there a trigger and/or fix for that?

Can you update this Mod to load a different Jump Drive image on it? You can download this mod separately and download the image as a different mod and make it jump as we want. For example, next to this mod, you can give the Elite Dangerous Capital Ship Jump Image, that black cloud appearance, as a visual mode. This is an idea, I hope you can understand, sorry my english is not very good. Different visual modes that will change only that yellow image next to the Jump Drive mode can be nice. :steamthumbsup:

Very nice mod, only bad thing to say about it is that the square doesn't size up to the ship so my Homeworld-inspired mothership is too long. compared to the tiny little square

Very, Very nice effect with the disappearing blocks though; must've been interesting getting that to work. I assume you're making blocks transparent as the ship is 'scanned'?

this has started throwing errors in my log and crashing to desktop trying to load the sounds.
