@TheBeast look at the flag numbers and try things out, 1 = God powers, 2 = Mythic units, 3 = choose player for 1 and 2, 6 = normal units and 7 = choosing player for 6 and osiris picker

Could you please explain how the deity v6 map works? What character does player 1 have to put on which platform to give the other players what?

Hope this will work without too much hassle. You are a legend my good sir. AoM Scenario games are STILL amongst the greatest in the gaming industry. Even Warcraft 3 falls short in some aspects. I would probably tie them together solely for the fact that WC3 spawned the likes of DOTA 2 and League of Legends. And probably most importantly, World of Warcraft.

I dont think there is a certain way for that other than just knowing it. If you havent played something before go to editor and open the map there and look around and if thats not enough you can playtest it as different players (somewhere in the editor menus).

Sorry, my error, I meant, i know some scenarios needs presice setups of AI/Human players,

ie :
2 players-team 1
2 players-team 2
1 ai-team 3

That kind of thing.

Not new to the game, but never played player made scenarios even back in the days (had no internet and good old physical copie; RIP disc) so I have no idea in this department.

@Esper, Go to Online, Create game (setting dont matter), switch game type from supremacy to scenario and pick your map.
I havent followed this for a while so you might need to transfer your files from mods to scenario, look at the top of this workshop for exact folders.

i want to play this but every time i load a scenario my game just lags and i cannot play and it kicks me out of the aom, wtf, anyone know how to fix it?

Gamemode sounds like mythodea and "White Mythodea!! By USA_ThisDaY." is like it. Most varied version of mythodea i have with most unit variation plus godpowers and 'power units' available.

Way back when I was a kid, there was an awesome 4-player map called "Myth Wars". Basically, it had a temple on each corner of a very small map, protected by powerful walls and regular towers. each player spawns hordes of myth units (flyers not allowed cuz they can go over walls). The objective was to destroy the temple of the other 3 players, and be the last temple standing. Usually the center of the map had a large stone or something. (I personally liked the versions with a healing spring in the middle).
Are any of your maps like that?

Yep, i made Hoplite Fight New 10 years ago. But, you can still edit the map, and remove the arcus part. It's not a big deal. At least, i hope you will enjoy it.

I hope that that hoplite fight isn't one of the many rigged versions by the same name (the minitoine version is technically an homage to Egroeg and Yeoc's original work, but I digress) and ended up having to de-rig and republish.

Just press the Subscribe button and it should download the files, restarting the game is maybe required! If the files wont show in the game try to file moving solution that I posted in the comments and in the description.

How do I actually download this? Sorry new to Steam Workshops and such. Thank you for the help!

to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Mythology\scenario
It should fix the multiplayer problem

Hey Jameli, I appreciate your getting back to us and the effort you've put into bringing the old memoribilia stuff back :)

These are just old scenarios from the original AoM. Some of them might (and apparently) wont work on the new extended edition.
Some of them also require some work from the host like in some escapes player 5 and 6 to be bots. I haven't made any guides for that.

I was able to fix the bug by doing the whole moving the files from Age of Mythology/mods/Starter scenario pack/scenarios to Age of Mythology/scenarios

Unable to play the maps. Hope the bug is resolved soon the nostalgia is kicking in :p

Used play AOM non stop I absoutley love it and with this fiile with all the maps and scenarious it is AMAZING HOPLITE FIGHT is my favourite game mode ever and since the online went and gameranger never had someone hosting hoplite fight i tried to find alternatives but they were nver as good and I could not find a download for it online so I gave up, I'm so pumped for this now. :)

I have like 4 different mythodea's so it is not a big deal. I just missed that one :P

I have just released a fixed version of norse wars onto the workshop. :) There were a few parts of the script which I had to alter slightly as they were causing problems.

The thing is, these files are fine but the game does not work with them at this moment. If they wont work after trying to fix the bug by:
1. going to the editor and saving the file or
2. moving the files from ..Age of Mythology/mods/Starter scenario pack/scenarios to ...Age of Mythology/scenarios
You just have to wait for the next patch and hope that they fix the bug.

Horrible. No maps work, just take you back to the main menu. Jameli take this off until you get this fixed as it is completely useless for now and is just causing trouble for others.

You can fix the main menu return bug by opening it in the editor and saving the map. I start doing it to the files and reupload them after.

Okay, I keep asking around whats the deal with this.

All of these load then send me back to the main menu before even getting to the game screen.

Can I play these in SP also?

There is white mythodea there. Didnt want to add many scenarios from one gamemode. People seem to be hosting nature mytodea in the multiplayer so you can get it easily there =) I could add it to the pack if you wish

Where are the mythodia's i mean, i myself still have a few varients of them. But i recon they were quite popular back in the day.
