had a problem . this map caused my game to crash. not sure if its just a problem with my computer or if not but i thought id let you know

We sometime play it with lot of people (around 20 to 30) and everybody got no problem at all on the map except from the spawning problem under the map near the last objective, or the fps issue in the last building on last objective due to the double big spot light inside..

Maybe this workshop version got a problem but you're the first to have this problem since may 2014.. so I don't know maybe it's finally on your end? If you want we can meet on my server where the map is runing to test it out?

By the way, I'm still looking for feedbacks to improve the map, I got a v3 with the bugs I know corrected, but I need to do more work on the map to release it, so feel free al to give lot of feedbacks on what improvement I can do to the map. Thanks.

ok if I can find a server of the map or unless I can actually try the map myself I'll give it a go.

Try by yourself, as the screenshots may not be exactly the same as ingame, but the map is intended to be dark.

It looks extremely dark in the screenshots, do you have a version with the sun beaming through the trees or a foggy moon lit night?

Interesting , its as if the terror of silent hill has consumed part of the war and now the soldiers that died are now reliving their deaths and the only way to get out is to complete their objective.

Looks nice, but rather small.
By the way, you should consider doing a map based on the Silent Hill series. Lot's of map makers for this try to work on more historical or realistic locations. It'd be cool to see something more fun, gritty and somewhat scary. I imagine it'd get a lot of attention here too (and less people complaining about the name on Workshop).

Need a chuch? and maybe some more fog? :)

That speaking, this is a good map itself, nice work.

I think you won't be able to see your opponent on this map since it's so dark. It is already painful to distinguish friend from foe in RO2 especially in jungle or dark environments.

Silent Hill is a city, but can be the video game serie, or the movies, or simply a place, a silent place, on a hill. The map is called Silent Hill because of its original name on RO: Ost Front (I did not name the original map, someone else made it), and because I wanted to keep the original name.

Wonder why map name is silent hill but nothing to do with it. Dunno how good this game handle at custom maps but it doesnt look sh at all.

Terrible map. You waste your time on it. It is not battle from WW2. It doesn't look like anything from Silent Hill. Next time play games from this series, watch films than with some idea about subject you can work.
