Have an issue where colonists won't drop weapons. I always end up looking in a pawns inventory wondering why only one person has a rifle and finding that that one pawn has 5 extra.

Text on the bar IS vanilla. The decals are added by Vanilla Textures Expanded, which you've probably been using for so long that you thought it was vanilla heheh.

Just a cosmetic suggestion, but a more vanilla-like decal would look better on my bar instead of a giant sign that says "Weapons". Great mod beside that.

The colonists do not take weapons from the outfit stand. Of course, I allowed them to use it

Doesn't seem to play nicely with Hospitality. Throws red errors when guests wake up and try to get loadout.

Could you make it optional with dragon mobile's module weapons? The colonists who drive those EXO with module weapons stand and try to drop their weapons again and again.

Hey thanks for the mod!

Are there chances non-weapons will be added to the loadout menu as well? I'd love to have wood and thrumbo horns among other options. That's unfortunate when pawns drop equipped stuff while having 'Anything' allowed and walk without weapons at all.

can you make it so the weapon is linked to a certain apparel setup? I use rimworld of magic that just introduced the "undead" apparel tab automatically on undead creation, I want so pawns with that apparel also equip certain weapons

I feel like I've said this before but I'm looking forward to that Simple Sidearms compatibility! It'd make this mod perfect heheh. :D

The only other mod I know that does something similar to this is Equipment Manager, but the UI is very clunky and terrible if you play with mods that add ammunition like LTS Ammunition, since you need to blacklist all of the weapons that don't use the same ammo in every loadout. It's super, super tedious.

Would it be possible to have the tab show the higher of the two skills as a number
and which of the two the pawn has a passion in?
Idealy with integration for the skills expanded passions.

Bonus points if we can get some sort of automation.
Im currently playing with 20+ aging. With SS i can have the pawn equip one weapon
without having to go into any menu but it does not quite work right these days.
Having a pawn be assigned a loadout depending on the first weapon he equips would be great.

This is a lovely addition to any save. It seems quite lightweight and doesn't break with large modlists like Simple Sidearms does; the Better Pawn Control integration just makes this a solid 10/10. Thank you for keeping it updated!

Pawns do not automatically change weapons to better ones, only when you manually reset the weapon. Perhaps you need to somehow configure SimpleSidearms to make it work automatically or is this not possible?

I had actually stepped away from modding for a while, and right now I'm finishing some work as a part of a team, but afterwards I think this mod needs some attention.

Hi! Its a cool mod and thanks for your work. But I have a problem with this mod, my pawns will always take a worse weapon, if I had a better weapon. How can I configurate it?

Feature Request: Keyboard Hotkey for Weapons Tab

It would be cool if this mod added a configurable keybind to open the weapons tab, like the vanilla tabs.

I just had a cool thought - what if on the weapons tab it displayed the pawns' melee and ranged stat (as a number)? Then one could assign them loadouts without having to switch to the pawn's bio to see what they do best with. Just an idea :)

Has a weird interaction with Simple Sidearms. Sometimes a pawn will equip a new weapon after being downed while keeping the previous sidearm.

@Casiy, that's not good. Give me a bit and I'll manually revert the build and add in separate folders for 1.3 and 1.4 (you don't have to do anything). Thanks for letting me know!

I'm not sure what is going on, but is this not working in 1.3 for anyone else? Ofc I have other mods, so it could be a mod conflict, but when I try to open the weapons tab it makes my item count on the left disappear but pulls up no window.

So, it's hard to be sure, but the updated version I just pushed should work for both 1.3 and 1.4. If it's not working, let me know!
The only thing I noticed was that it took a little while for pawns to update their loadout and get the job to pick up a weapon. More testing needed.
