Too bad this doesn't do what I need it to, after playing with it some more I'm going to drop it and go back to managing caravans manually, it will be less frustrating with caravans deciding to enter maps at 22:00 etc.

Nice job, Nice mod! Btw, will this mod eventually give caravan an option button to have everyone on it eat a meal immediately to satisfy the food need, since sometimes the food and rest needs just cannot meet together for everyone, which result in an endless waiting?

This is neat though honestly I would really prefer something simpler, when the caravan arrives just pause it one tick before it enters and send a letter alerting me. I'll decide whether to let them enter or not. More than once I've not noticed that a caravan has arrived because they just rested without giving any notification.

SRTS doesn't use the regular caravan entity on the world map, so it should be perfectly compatible. I haven't seen any issues at least.

Gotta agree with Arcimbaldo. If there's no syncing of food consumption, they will never enter their destination.

This is a neat quality of life feature, but the only issue I've had is that your pawns don't synchronise their meals...so in practice it can be quite hard to make sure your needs are filled for all pawns because by the time you've waited for one of them to eat, the others will have got hungry again

If this is compatible with Almost There it would be great. Can we specify which destinations they should rest before entering? Player colonies and friendly settlements don't need them to rest first but quest objectives and hostile bases do.

psyfocus regenates when caravan is resting. would it be possible to have the caravan not enter if a psycaster is below desires level?

@trajda Good questions.
1) It stops *just* before reaching the destination tile, so as soon as it starts moving again, it will arrive the next tick.
2) The caravan will rest before reaching any destination that causes (or may cause) it to enter a map, which includes your own colony.
3) The caravan does not rest before settling or before any action you take that causes it to immediately enter a map. You as the player must consider the caravan's current needs when doing so.

So basically if you tell the caravan to visit another faction's base to trade or gift items, it won't bother to rest first, and if you then tell it to attack that base once it's already there, it won't be rested. But if you tell the caravan to go to a base specifically to attack it, it will rest first.

It will also rest before entering ancient ruins, mining sites spawned with the long range mineral scanner, battle sites spawned by quests, other factions' work sites, etc.

1) Where does the caravan stops to realize it should rest?
2) Does caravan rests only before entering incidents or does it apply to cities and your colony as well?
3) If you abandon your colony, does the caravan rests before settle? Does caravan rest before settling in a camp from the camp mod?
