Also the handbrake doesn't seem to function. And these cars auto blip.

Seems the spec 1 auto clutches regardless if auto clutch is off in settings.

I have a 2004 MX-5 Mazdaspeed Miata any chance of tweaking this to those spec's? It is one of my favorites in the Assetto Corsa game.

This car is extremely well made. Excellent job.

Question: Is there any chance of disabling Auto blip on downshift? I have auto clutch set to off, auto blip and auto lift to off. (Also checked the Player.json file). Still blip on downshifts. Tried with the standard Caterham and that doesn't do it.

Very correct mod both in sound and graphics. Special mention to the two versions, hooded and convertible, with the detail that in the latter, if it rains, the interior of the vehicle will also get wet.
The handling of the vehicle is what you would expect from a rear-wheel drive and not at all complicated...unless we run under extreme rain conditions, of course🤪🤪🤪.
A mod that after its update on August 5, 2021, borders on perfection and is a delight.

Great MOD. I own a MX5 NC1 2007 and had some older MX5 Mod before. Now, using the Spec1 MOD here, I get about the very same specs as in my own car. The old MOD I used wasn't near the power and speed in this one. GREAT! Just one thing, and can't say I'm a wiz on customizing routines but did a skin of my own to the old MOD. Now I manage to adapt that skin to the Spec 1 cathegory here and can select that car to a track and race ( did create the own 'Team' and naming the car and all). It works fine when racing and that's most important and 'my car' is selectable from Spec1 before starting a Race. But the thumbnail icon of the car IS NOT a pic of my skin. As said it is when I enter the race and drive but in my last MOD I also had a thumbnail image represented. The no manual of handling this and I tried everything. Any hint someone?

I own and race an MX5 MK1 in the BRSCC. Great car, just needs the engine sound to have more of a throaty sound and less raspy. Gearing could do with being a little shorter too.
Ratio
1st gear - 3.136 :1
2nd gear - 1.888 :1
3rd gear - 1.333 :1
4th gear - 1.000 :1
5th gear - 0.814 :1

Tried this with 360 controller, steering is very fast.

in terms of pure top speed AI are a little bit faster, but I think the MX-5 will not be used on ovals... Please note that the car has been set to take advantage of sleepstream, that is very useful in the circuits where MX-5 usually races.

cars are great, but the AI in this car is much faster on the straights than I am. Is this intentional?

I love the car, but the audio is just distorting soo loudly, its piercing my ear. If this gets fixed and has normal levels of audio, and not the distortion for making it sound aggressive its a damn near perfect car!
