While this mod is good in concept, it causes terrible slow downs in the game's speed.

Yeah, they are fun though. I don't expect this mod to fix it, either. This is why I added the sarcastic "shocker, I know" in my post.
More of a warning for other people, who think this might save them - it won't.

@Tschuangtse That's not an issue with this mod, but VFE Coilguns, as they use a custom penetration system that's broken as all getup and ignores even vanilla friendly fire settings, it'll kill pawns even if they are adjacent to the shooter. I'd recommend not using that mod until they fix that.

So, small issue report:
When using Gauss weapons from VWE you still kill your own pawns when not extremely careful. The reason - I would wager - is the size of the Gauss projectile in combination with it's penetrating damage, which is basically a line in which everything gets damaged.
The mod does not account for this (shocker, I know).

@thorman123456789 The option the game gives you to remove "friendly fire" is not 100%, missed shots can still hit your teammates.

@thorman123456789 The custom game setting simply disables any damage being done to the Colonist, in most situations.

This stops the shot from going off at all, if there is a target in the way. Honestly the only reason to use this is maybe if you are using VFE Coilguns, since for some intensely stupid reason those weapons ignore the FF game setting.
