My (temporary) solution for the Brimstone Crags bug was to use Calamity Biome Spawner: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2951815963&searchtext=biome+spawner

Just skip the generation of the Brimstone Crags with Worldgen Previewer (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2843258712&searchtext=worldgen)

and with Cheat Sheet you take out the item that generates the Brimstone Crags and that's it.

Btw, i'm using google translate so if I say something wrong I'm sorry

@fox in a can idk what are you talking about, has world of 22400x5200 with calamity and all works fine to me, brimstone crag spawns as any other biomes.

for some reason the Calamity Mod's Brimstone Crag Biome doesn't want to spawn in when changing the parameters of the world size. I'm not sure if I should comment this, since you mentioned that one should be closer to vanilla with mods, but all the other Calamity features seemed to load well, not sure why this is different!

if you're using infernum go to mod config and turn off overhauled generation

I also vote for the brimstone crag issue to hopefully be fixed someday! Just, uh, so you know lots of people care about it? I mean damn I hate how small large worlds are lmao.

brimestone crag from calamity break the world gen so its impossible to make a custom size world with calamity, any fix possible? only for that only biome that stop the entire mod to gen correctly?

for some reason this mod makes it so the dungeon always spawns on the right side of the world, causing the Brimstone Crags to always overwrite the providence arena biome area from Infernum. Please make it so the side the dungeon is on is changeable.

As in the discussion - for whatever reason (probably a safety check in Calamity), ending the values of the world size with the number 2 always results in successful world generation.

Is there some way to use this mod to load a custom world not created with it? I had a x2 large blank in tedit where I stitched together 2 regular terraria genned larges sea to sea, and I've been trying to figure out how to get terraria to open it. The reason for it is because I like terraria's true native world gen, and to avoid any possible problematic generation errors by just using terraria's own gen. No disrespect to this author, I do love this mod. Added in discord suggestions for a mod to only load custom sized worlds. If anyone knows of a mod like this please reach out

@Ishigh ive asked if they could look into compatibility but they want a dev of this mod to reach out to calamity!

Please reach out if you have time this will certainly fix the compatibility with Calamity if they want to fix it but you will have to reach out first if not they are probably not gonna do something until someone reached out from this mod! :GDNormal:

There's a bug with trap generation where not all of the active stone blocks turn inactive destroying the boulders. I don't think its any other mod but this.

I tried to join your discord, the "are you a bot" prevention thing apparently didn't enable me for some reason, so this is the only way of asking for infos / help:
is making a large*4 by large*4 world (33600 by 9600) tiles world supported and if not, what's the biggest supported world size?
because with that size the map fog of war area doesn't save and it crashes when I change deep underground on the far right side of the map (I assume that means it's not supported, so what's the biggest size?)
please help, I'd ask in the discord but I literally can't get in :c

There seems to be a problem generating worlds when using this mod and infernum, the world is almost fully built and then stops at brimstone craig or something

so umm... Is there a way to change WHERE the corruption/crimsion spawns during world generation? I do have trouble with this because most of the time when I generate a new world they always appear right next to the place where you spawn.

What exactly does "Evil.BiomeAmount.Min" and "Evil.BiomeAmount.Max" do? I'm trying to generate a world with only one crimson chasm, but regardless of the numbers I enter for these options, nothing changes.

If you really want to, you can just generate a world using this, then use a mod to generate Calamity biomes. Just be sure to save your world.

I wouldn't hold your breath regarding Calamity's devs trying to ensure their mod is compatible with other mods. That could get exhausting really fast and take away time from working on their own mod. Especially for a mod that not everyone uses.

The advanced generation causes corruption to literally generate in the same place as jungle/desert

LDL you need to do some tweaking in the config but you will have tons of lag but if u reload mods after entering world it helps, that's why i wont use this mod anymore.

No matter how high i set the min and max on living trees only 2 or 3 three spawn, I am doing something wrong? Like im trying to set to like 200-500 and only 2 spawn, help.

Some extra custom option would be fine. For example some drunk seed details like asured sea caves and otherwold music are neat, but others like the underground desert and jungle spawning anywhere not so much.
Aside that, still grants way more control over the seeds, that's something.

@Pitaya I left the tmodloader discord because of some assholes there so I'm not aware of any change in the API that could happen and the only source of info I have is people reporting issues here or in my server. I also moved onto other project
As of why it's "buggy", it's quite simple : it affects worldgen a lot, and only the vanilla part of it, some mods don't expect that. I also made this mod alone and unpaid.
All of that to say, complaining won't help the situation, I need a precise bug report or I can't do anything

all my attempts to made the world wider, and slightly taller, fail because i got the very nice calamity mods one q-q (most times fails on Brimstone)

Yea second this, the extra overhauled features are bugged. When using them the jungle always spawns on the left side and dungeons of other mods get messed up. With the extra features i get way too many evil biomes, half generated dungeons and so on. Only using the extended world size works perfectly fine
