Report a translation problem
Dunno what could be causing it, but it's a bit of a shame.
- Added Zoom speed setting
- Added Simplified Chinese translations (thanks 虞悖「Yu Bell」)
So if you want to render all tiles and are at 100% zoom you should set it to 1, if you are at 80% zoom, you should set it to 0.8 and so on.
If you are at 80% zoom and have it set to 1, the game doesn't draw all tiles that would be on the screen (like the previous version).
If you are at 100% zoom and set it to 0.1 for example the setting doesn't do anything useful and only makes the game lag more.
I did test it, and noticed a performance drop when I zoom out to 70% or lower. The performance drop is normal when drawing more tiles. Terraria isn't optimized at all.
What does this new feature do? Can You give an example?
Even if i set it to 0.5 I dont see any difference in game besides fps dropping from 144+ to 70-80. Did You test this feature? It is not OK, that i get so huge drop with 9070XT and 9800X3D.
I didnt change something and FPS dropped from 144+ to 30.
How does this feature work?
- Thanks to DogeRoll the Game can now render tiles outside the normal view range! Be warned however, this will make the game lag more. You can turn the feature off in the config.
- New icon, hope you don't miss the guide
- Min/Max config settings condensed into one slider
