@McJimbles I think if you made a timer, like the Charged Abilties Hud thingy above your head to show how long you have to hold, this would make the mod a lot better

If you use one time use items like R key and Diplopia with book of virtues and this item, the one time use item does NOT go away and you can use it infinitely. Was playing with a friend and we got diplopia and found GodHead in an angel room. He used diplopia like a bunch of times and we had a fun time breaking the game.

As others have mentioned using book of virtues with any single use item makes them infinite use

i got mystery gift with book of virtues and it let me use it infinitely

heads up: using diplopia with book of virtues (or maybe just diplopia on its own, havent tested it) with this mod on doesnt remove the diplopia and basically breaks the game. Might wanna look into that

Yo, I found out that the "? Card" stops working with the actives when the mod is enabled, even if the timer is set to 0. Very sick mod btw!

Another bug is if you run pocket actives with this and your eden and get a one time use active it doesn't let you use it at all

This breaks the mod "forget me now in 3 sec" , not holding it pressed down consumes the forget me now but doesnt reset the floor

Alright I've got the fix working how I originally intended, but I won't upload it until I actually play test for for a few hours. Not making the same mistake again lmao, honestly so embarrassed that I did that shit

Yea i just figured out why I broke everything. I messed up the familiar callback where I was fixing the book of virtues bug. I will update the mod with the proper fix as soon as I can

same problem, just went through and familiars only work when the mod is disabled

This mod I breaking familiars I think. Its causing them to disappear entirely, including flies and spiders. Might want to double check the charge made to book of virtues because I think thats tthe culprit

Book of virtues still spawns a wisp everytime you click it lmao, not based on the timer, it breaks the game.

Not sure if you could implement this, but do you think you could add the same function for Red Key or Cracked key when you've picked up dad's note? I always feel like I'm gonna misclick on my way to dogma and lose my chance at getting my tainted characters

I just discovered that this lets you use Sacrificial Altar in cases where it wouldn't normally activate, and it gives you nothing

this is so good for my controller :D i hate the feeling of sometimes grazing my l2 and losing my diplopia

i love you, it sums up my fuck up on a Jacob and esau run, when i accidentally pressed space and i used my R key on the wrong moment

Actually, I will be making a whole new overhauled mod that adds the new features in. I don't want to have to worry about conflicts with the old features, or have current subscribers get confused.

@evan.jeebow I actually just figured out a way to do this (I'm new to modding and didn't know how to prevent some bugs I was getting with normal active items before), and I will be updating the mod to support every active item. I'll likely update the name of the mod as well

it might take a while but you should add support for all active items and add a option to make any item use instantly or require to be held down longer

Is there anyway to make the mods work together? I would like to see these work together, both are brilliant quality of life features. Perhaps you could reach out to that mod's author or something?

@CheatFreak Thanks for pointing that stuff out. I've just updated the mod to have Forget Me Now in the settings (no idea how i forgot to add it there lmao). Also I think the incompatibility with Forget Me in 3s comes from both mods trying to do stuff after the PRE_USE_ITEM callback, and it doesn't work if the other mod runs its callback first.
