Glad to hear you're enjoying them. A stormy weather version would be cool, but unfortunately I don't know how to create the rain/wind/lightning/etc effects to make it happen. And I'm working on other projects at the moment, so haven't really got the time to do it sorry.

This is the best steam vr home ever! I love to flip between day and night I really appreaciate that ability. Would lose my mind if you made a nighttime storm version of this. Its such a joy to watch my pc screen in this home. I love the bathroom wish I had one in real life like that.

I didn't time myself building it, but it was somewhere around 150+ hours making the day time version. And then maybe another 5-10 hours converting it to night time and adding some extra stuff that's only in the night version.

This is my favorite Steam VR environment. I can't imagine how much work it was to do but I hugely appreciate it!

This is the best VR "house" on Steam. I spent probably 6 hours just going around all over every bit of it. Truly amazing work and a must have for any LOTR fan.

That's great to hear Rob. It was a huge undertaking making it. Took around 150 hours to make the day version, then I spent a few more hours converting it over to this night version. The longest part(when creating the day version) was probably adding all the detail to the many rooms in the house. From the props in the room, to the wood trim/beams around the walls/ceiling, etc.

This is my new home and I don't expect to change it as I couldn't imagine a better place to load into when I start Steam VR. So much detail and great atmosphere combined with decent audio. I'm a huge fan of Tolkien and love the Hobbit. This is a great map to checkout and unwind. Very hygge.

Have you subscribed to the 4 required asset packs? If so, then maybe try unsubscribing to Bag End - Night, and then resubscribing to it. That should make it download again. Could be that something got corrupted when you first downloaded it.
