Did you, even accidentally, "pickpocket" ringo in the gas station by looking into his inventory? I included that as a sort of easter egg where he "catches you pickpocketing" and you hear the negative karma sound and are made hostile.

No disguise, i completed the tutorial then after i leave the gas station the goodsprings settlers attack me, as well as rizzo when he leaves to join sandy,

only other mod i have active is auto view distance,

Are you running any other mods? Are you wearing a "disguise"? For example, if you put on a powder ganger outfit it will turn townsfolk hostile to you, but it will make powder gangers friendly to you.

My friendly ai For example civilians are hostile even during the first quest when i go to fight the powder gangers

Aftermath was taken down during the big purge wave of mods with potential copywrite concerns. Gotta get it from the Aftermath discord.

@Frosty Mist Thanks for testing that. ACE is great but most of the bugs I'm seeing on singleplayer missions end up coming down to ACE for some reason.

Tried it, seems to have fixed the problem.

Try replaying the mission with only the required mods. I have a suspicion there is a mod conflict, possibly ACE.

I have acemod, zombies and demons, IrishAce ACE3 Aftermath Patch, half life 2 echoes and wake island active when playing the scenario besides the 3 requirements listed.

Also it seems like the player is affected too in that you do not die when your HP is 0 but roll down onto the ground until you press ESC and hit respawn to die.

Basically when it happens to the ghouls they point towards you automatically anytime you move when they are on the ground.

@Mr. Vile and Frosty Mist do you have any other mods running? Particularly, ACE? I keep replaying the mission as well as putting down ghouls in the editor and I can't seem to replicate the problem.

I experimented with shooting the ghouls in the heads 4 times and they still didn't seem to die. Only stayed on the ground and made sounds but got up again when shot, could not complete the objective.

This mod looks and feels completely authentic, but the ghouls don't really die. I shot literally all of the ammo I had into their heads and it does nothing. I wish this wasn't the case, because I really like the mod otherwise, but this makes it unplayable.

@LUCKY !! ソラ！The Ghouls' health is scripted to take a bout 4 shots in the head each.

At the start in Good Spring during the 'clear the gecko at the well' question. I've shot the ghouls many times and they don't die. Is this a bug?

@chancellor04 when I load the 3 mods, it works. Only when I fail to load the melee mod does it indeed tell me entities do not exist.

@Liberty Bul! i did yes, it was saying something about entity 304 or something like that not exsisting anymore. thank you for the speedy reply btw!!

@chancellor04 Do you have CBA_A3 and Improved Melee System mods also loaded?

doesnt work for me, says that a couple entites no longer exsist

@Liberty Bull Yea i discovered after, with 20 hours playing and completing the quest i can say this is the best mod that i ever seen, goood job, amazing.

@Paloma Cuesta The ghouls have scripted health, so they require a certain amount of shots to kill them. Try using VATS to make your shots count and four should take them down.

Yeah it's amazing what people can recreate and experiment using Arma 3, I think the editor feels great and with a lot of fidelity but the optimization and the clunkiness behind its gameplay mechanics and engine hinders it a lot. Imagine what you could have done if the engine didn't shit itself every time the AI is forced to move inside buildings. Thanks for answering my question, I'm also making a mission right now and scripting and experimenting stuff is what motivates me to give it the best experience and tailoring I can

@Saeletra I like how respectful you were in articulating that sentiment. It was honestly more of an experiment to see how closely I could recreate some of the things from New Vegas, and it really helped me learn how to do quite a bit in the way of scripting and learning the UI layer system. After discovering the Aftermath mod I thought it would be neat to have a good mission to go with it and this is the end result. I do get the fact that if you want to play New Vegas, you would be better to literally play New Vegas; this is kind of more for both me as the creator and you as the player to go "oh thats pretty cool" as we see things we recognize.

I can appreciate the passion and the drive behind recreating it, but I can't really grasp why people would want to play a scenario like this seriously, considering Arma being unoptimized and New Vegas being cheaper and runs a lot better for it. Plus all the mechanics are specifically tailored to the experience in the actual New Vegas game.

@HeimQuadrik do you have any other mods running? Run only Aftermath, Improved Melee System and CBA_A3

I would love to try this and experience what you have created. Unfortunately when I click play nothing happens, no errors or messages it just sits there and I am unsure what troubleshooting steps to perform. I have subscribed to each one of the listed required items. I am on Linux however but this has not stoped me from playing any part of the game so far. If you have any ideas let me know.
