Ok, sorry for being an idiot, but how do you start this? I have this and the 4 required mods, in the order suggested in the comments, and I don't see any way to start the campaign.

Johnny 5 is spot on imo. Fun concept in theory, but not fun in practice.

Interesting mod. However I wouldn't recommend it to those who aren't very patient.. What will happen during the missions is more or less guess work, and most of the time you will be reloading after every battle because something entirely unexpected happened. - This on top of the largely insane amount of sending your troops around the map in speed x3 makes it quite tiresome.

Love the narrative and would like to see more, but for example the first extra mission in the farms you spend a good 7 or 8 minutes just on fast speed. The Norscan camp one is trolling I am convinced. Minor stuff like the rift attack is a fun concept, but its not as fun when you have to sit through about 5 minutes of reloads to face an unwinnable battle just to see some interesting dialogue

During the First Beastman battle after Marching to Kraka Drak, the game just crashes when loading in the battle with the three herdstones

Also, on the first fight against beastmen (where you have to stay on the road and destroy heardstones, the AI slayers do not help, they just stay there watching. As I had to put on reserve my two most expensive units, that's a no no! Need those to win that fight without insane casualties.

The problem is, unless you do some trial and error battles, you have NO CLUE on what's going to happen on each quest, so it's impossible to know if you are going to need elites, anti large, etc. So, who do we send to reserves? It's a gamble. Also, I sent the hammer infantry to the reserves, being the most expensive ones, and bought a cheaper infantry (the ones with throwing axes): still I got negative gainings from a quest. What's the point other than randomly guess and hope it's enough for the quest? As there is no way to tell what's going to happen (other than replay the game again), yes, there's an economy problem atm imo. Have only replenished my lord once, as the rest of the troops were almost full, and i'm already at 73 gold and not looking bright for the near future, despite having my too most expensive units onr eserves and not having bought one unit still.

To you all who suffer from too expensive army, check mod description, if you click at unit, you can send it to reserves, that way you will not have to pay salary to them, that way you can for small missions with small reward take small cheap army.
To those who suffer from no replenishment of units, check mod description, if you click on unit while army is in settlement, you can replenish troops for gold.
...I know users duty is to not read mod description, but you really really should :epicool:

I tested it. It's just frickin' awesome. As other player have said, the replenishment is quite harsh. I may did some mistake but hard money to get + no replenishment is really hard.

You may bested CA at CA thing... really good mod, i enjoyed it very much. Bonus point for writing and the scenario, it's really nice and you get attached to every event and all the units.

great mod, pls make troops either auto heal to full when at city or balance out the salaries and income from quests since i was at depth whole game once i bought all units- so i would inevitable lose if the game was any longer

absolute great mod, great concept, loved the airship mission, love the dwarfs but ye have to balance the fiance side of it so you can actually recover but on a whole great, good job

well i seem to be having an issue with the movies they seem to play sounds from the lothern stuff and nothing to do with the video playing

In that mission there is mission "objective" (or should be) "End of current content", which means it is end of current content.

you can put some of your units in reserves (check mod description screens)

We will check if restart battle or some kind of automatic autosave before battle would be possible
In future we plan to add to player roster more tools like runes, Kislevian cavalry, maybe piece of artillery, that should make them more versatile.

Awesome mod! Had a lot of fun so far! Only issue I find is with the side quests. They seem strangely balanced. Most of the times you lose money doing them.

So, obviously the idea is great and I can't wait to see a storyline mod set in the Empire, but:
1. Side quests are useless in their current state, since they give you too few resources with which you can barely cover your losses, and not every time, even if you bring only a small force with you
2. A restart button during battles is necessary, cause you'll usually lose the first attempt
3. I'm not a big fan of dwarves but the roster can be quite weak and doesn't allow you to experiment a lot of different tactics on the field, aside from the classic shieldwall. E.g. in the beastmen battle a single enemy cavalry unity can rout your entire army with a couple charges. Besides, the battle maps definitely don't make defensive battles easier. Quite the opposite, there's a lot of running to be done and dwarves don't fare well in that.

Can't get the voices to play, every time I go to start a new campaign all i hear is the old man adviser talking, I believe from one of the base game cutscenes. I tried changing the load order to Modding > Vfx effect > Lost Kin > Mixxu > GCCM2 like @Toketa suggested. I even tried unsubscribing and re subscribing to all of the 5 mod required to play Reuniting Lost Kin (including the main mod) to redownload them all and still nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you for the info! It seems mine finally worked after I disabled and re-enabled the mods in the mod manager, it probably auto set the mods in the order you mentioned. Still, good to know for others who might have this same problem.

Same issue here, resolved by changing the launch order of the mods: Modding > Vfx effect > Lost Kin > Mixxu > GCCM2

The mod looks amazing, thumbs up to "The Great Book of Grudges" for making a video about it otherwise I would of missed it. I did encounter a bug and I hope someone might be able to tell me if there's a fix since it seems a big part of the game. Basically all of the voice acting is from the original Warhammer 2 Advisor cinematics, I can't hear any of the mods' protagonist speaking which is such a shame because in the video the voice acting sounded amazing and I would like to experience this mod to it's fullest.

Does anyone how to fix this? Would appreciate it and thank you!

Amazing mod, very well done! Can't wait to see more of this :-)

Two notes to address some of th eissues raised below:
- you can send part of your troops to reserves when doing the ''side quest'''missions. Each mission shows the reward up-front: if the reward is only 3000 gold, you should only bring half of your force to make sure you don't make a financial loss
- you can instantly heal/replensish troops for some gold when located at a friendly settlement, to make sure you enter the next battle at full strenght
