@Malikyte You really only need the launch option once and then the LUA is installed until the next update. You don't have to keep the launch option and redownload LUA each time you launch BT

Well if it's not the mod, Malikyte, do you have any further insight? The command doesn't work for me either; it sits on downloading patch and never progresses, even with the ssl retry command posted in discussions. Gonna just have to do it manually I guess

@maksimkuper - That's a you issue, not the mod. Mine runs the installer/downloader every single time I launch BT. Which... is honestly kind of annoying, but at least it's fast.

When downloading from GitHub using the command in the startup properties, the package does not load and the game closes.

@tinocraft67 so basically it happened in the Hoi4 modding community, where a popular mod called TFR and one of its submod created by an independent group had some srs disagreements over creative freedom over the base mod. As a result both group or a third unknown party started exploiting the DMCA flaw in steam reporting each other. Soon ppl rlz that it doesn't cost them anything to DMCA a mod and all hell broke loose. Then it began to spread to other games' modding community (rimworld, barotrauma, EU4, etc.)...
