I'm not sure if I understand what you're asking, but I don't think I know how an effect would need to be written in order to make it last for 9 specific moves (as in certain skills). The duration type for effects is by default set to after every turn (not round), meaning you would only have to add .duration 9 to the line of an effect if that's what you want, but this guide lists what parameters are possible for effects and buffs.
Aside from that, you'd be better off asking in either the official or the Moonlit Dungeon Discord server as I am not very experienced at modding.
A search for *.buff_duration_type* yielded 52 results. Tell me in detail, please, how to measure this file point by point? Is it possible to change not to rounds, but to 9 moves?
