THANK you. This made my local games much less of a pain whenever I got the opportunity to use the knife, and now it's back fully in all it's official glory! :chainsaw:

People have no idea how game balancing works, they probably go into a temper tantrums when an OP weapon gets nerfed in video games:steamfacepalm:

Tbh I would have been fine with the hitray changes if they gave the knife more than one swing, since it's really awkward only having a single swing with a slanted arc like that

@James - If you check your Left 4 Dead file directory, you'll see there's separate sub-directories for the base game, DLCs, and the TLS update

Thank you for this, if there's one thing I can't agree with the TLS update, it's definitely this change. Don't know who thought it was a good idea to change hitboxes that were perfectly fine.
