I ran into the same error as [SV] when using it together with RunAndGun - Continued.
After some testing, I found that the issue only occurs if RunAndGun is loaded before Eccentric Tech Core (and possibly Defense Grid).

When I load RunAndGun after all the Eccentric Tech mods I’m using, the error doesn’t appear on startup anymore.
I’ll start a new colony with this setup now to see if everything runs smoothly.

Run and gun continued updated to fix the instant melee problem, so I change run and gun to run and gun continued and the error show up, revert it back to run and gun and the error is gone, if you can't find anything wrong with that mod in particular, then it's probably a combination of stuffs

or maybe it's rimsort doing something weird, I notice it sometimes tries to sort prepatcher below harmony until I refresh the modlist or reopen the program, it then will sort it correctly, maybe it's just load order problem

I've been working on my modlist since I made the report due to different problem (white line on low hp wall) and before I knew it, the error stopped showing up

I did change run and gun continued back to run and gun (the temporary update one) due to instant melee bug, but iirc it was still showing error after the change, and due to your comment (and because I accidentally added a mod I don't actually want,) I tried replacing run and gun with the continued version and the error doesn't show up anymore

the mod that caused the white line is vanilla faction expanded empire or deserter, one of the two, but I just remove both
just incase one of them is the cause, if they're not, then I guess it's kinda a false alarm, sorry

@[SV] - Heya! Thank you for the report, but unfortunately I'll need some help in narrowing down exactly which mod might be causing the conflict. I tested the continued version of Run and Gun which has caused issues in the past, but am not getting the same error on load.

here is the error in particular (Eccentric Projectiles) Unable to find injection point for cooldown notification transpiler. This is probably due to a mod incompatibility, please notify the mod author!

not sure what is causing it, I added a couple of mods today, but removing them all doesn't remove the error, I removed a rim reborn classes and jobs which is showing in one of the error but it only remove 1 red error out of 4, the other 3 still persist

the last time I played the game was 2 days ago and there was no red error showing

I haven't get into the game yet, so I don't know if it's harmless error or not

@Princess Katsume - If you are using one of the mods that alters building layering / perspective drawing, then you need to have it exclude the Aurora Core since it does custom rendering.

the core hologram is appearing undeneath the core instead of on top

One thing that's really bugging me with Odyssey, is losing the state of my electrical connections and even switches when I launch. (Reconnecting to different power networks is maybe an exploit, but on/off switch states should stick instead of everything turning back on).

As a ship AI, could you have the Aurora Core centralise power management?
Either a profile that could be selected?
Or something like if grid excess is negative/batteries discharging, turn off systems in X order. Reverse as power rises. Would probably synergise well with fusion reactor start up.

@BeJust - When you complete the Aurora Core research project, you can then build the actual Aurora Core building by using a persona core. It is an attachment to a hi-tech research bench just like a Multi-Analyzer is.

In the new update the 1.5 version is broken. The paths for the textures don't match the actual drectory structure:

For example the path for Aurora core is Eccentric/Things/Buildings/AuroraCore while the actual path for the texture file is Things/Eccentric/Buildings. simply flipping Things and Eccentric makes it work.

For those with same issue go to Sense Of Depth mod options and deactivate it for Aurora Core

I have Replicated trees bug! I had the same thing but was able to fix it! I had Eccentric loading first(before vanilla content even) when the problem was, now its loading AFTER Vanilla AND Harmony. This has fixed the bug and i can now interact with the Nanofabricator etc! Its definetly not a bug on your issue, maybe just mention it somewhere to not load it first, lol!
@Cinder Jack Do you have one of the versions of Tacticowl running? I was just seeing the same thing with "Tacticowl Continued" (along with a ton of other breakage like factions not spawning on the map), and removing it has fixed things.

@Cookie Eater - If you had a local version of Combat Extended (such as the recent release candidate from GitHub) and you are going back to the Steam version, then make sure you delete your local copy entirely. RimWorld has had a bug since 1.4 wherein having a local copy of a mod causes the Steam version to no longer be recognized by conditional compatibility features such as MayRequire and LoadFolders.

I've noticed with CE 1.5 that ammunition for Eccentric weaponry is not updated as it was in 1.4 (E15 using 6x24mm pulse charge rounds for example), is this a bug or something that will be added?

@tree - Same deal, though. I need a log and a mod list, or preferably a HugsLog which would have both. It's 99% likely an issue with another mod you're running, and there's absolutely nothing I can do unless I can reproduce the issue.

so i have tested it further and it seems that if i force rotate it the animation gets moved to the forefront. I am using similar mods from my previous play through with the exception of SoS2.

I don't believe it's a game breaking bug but rather just a graphical one.

@Tsunatus - The only gameplay issue I've heard about is an issue with the refrigerators in Spacer Furniture, which I'm still waiting on someone to give me a log to diagnose. This is the first I've heard about an issue with the Aurora Core.

@Aelanna - Are your mods compatible with SoS2? The Aurora core animation seems to be bugged as the projection is being displayed behind the core when i build it in my space station.
I tried placing a floor on top of the ship hull plating but it doesn't change anything.
