I don't know if this was intended, but any trinket that reads: ''Friendly skill: X happens'' can trigger 3 times per turn for free on him since arrow selection is a ''friendly skill''.

I really like this mod, a lot, but there's just two things I wish could be fixed about him:
1) Making arrow selection either a skill ALWAYS available for him, paying for a skill to unlock once and take 1 out of 4 skill slots is agonizing for optimization
2) Changing any of the damaging skills (Piercing Arrow preferably, or Limb Snipe) to be able to be used on positions 1 and 2 as well, since he becomes a sitting duck if he's the last man standing (think like the Arbalest's Blindfire)
If I ever learn how to mod DD, I might do it myself, but I'd love it if they were features by default

A solid backliner with an interesting downside- in that if your party say, loses two characters- he literally cant do anything. Do not bring to ~endboss~ lol

A rare but much needed ranged class, very fun, very versatile. The only thing i dislike about the class is the size of a bow. I use him, and recommend same to you. I wish he had some sort of an indicator, maybe a different color of an icon depending on which mode he is in right now.

Great mod! good damage dealer, has versatility only issue I had was it felt like his CoM trinket has a finicky trigger. works sometimes and others it doesn't. helped make CoM fun so its good.

I just started using him, and while he does a lot of damage... he is only damage. No heals, no stuns, just raw damage. He doesn't even self buff.

Players are used to diverse characters that have multiple roles or positions, so I understand why this seems "too strong" for many. I would argue that overall the Crusader is a better hero, simply for utility and his massive damage to unholy. This dude is pretty alright for supplement.

@Nilidi I agree he is possibly too strong for Radiant but EVERYTHING is too strong in Radiant. Its not a game mode, its a trial run mode hehe.

I play on Darkest typically, I am not a huge fan of higher than that but that is because I don't want to limit the roster. Higher difficulty = less viable options. Just my two cents.

Is it intentional that you get him on the *very first* week? So you can go with him to the first dungeon (instead of taking Vestal or Plague Doctor).

I love him! He quickly became one of my fav class mods.

I'm playing on Bloodmoon btw, while also having all of Here Be Monsters & Koala's Creatures installed. So other people's complaints of the character being too strong is not something I'd agree with, seeing as how a lot of those enemy mods are ridiculously powerful.
Now, using the bowman on something like Radiant mode/a game with only vanilla enemies...then maybe I could see it. But as he is now, I don't see a problem with how strong he is for my playthroughs, and he is only ever at his best in the very back, where a Vestal/other healers would usually be safest.

Good ranged character without a mark synergy but with many various, useful effects, just like the Hawkeye. I enjoyed using him in my roster :steamthumbsup:

Had something curious happen to me today. When I continued my latest run I noticed two of my heroes were missing, this class and another called the Hive. Checked my mod list and they were missing there as well despite me still being subscribed to them on the workshop. So I un- and re-subscribed to both again which made Steam validate my game files.

No harm done in the end since both heroes and their trinkets are back now but still a rather strange thing to happen. Any idea what could have caused this? Did the game decide to just randomly corrupt two unrelated classes or something?

Awesome class, perhaps a bit too much damage. I love the mechanics though. I think bringing his traps down to 90 would a good thing. Also, any chance we could get a black and gold outfit? Thanks for the content!

Gotta say, he could really use some nerfs to his damage output. He NUKES everything, it's a cakewalk with him in the party. Other than that, I love the mod! The animation, effects, everything, love it.

I think he is well balanced as he is now to be honest, I would even call for more crit chances to be fair but as it is, is fine too. Everything works perfectly, very smooth in the animations, congrats !

I believe the bowman could benefit from a bit less damage and a lower crit chance. Being able to freely swap between armor piercing/bleed/blight is already a huge advantage, especially when paired with the right comp that deals more dmg vs. bleed/blight. (Not to mention, the powder arrow dealing fixed damage to other enemies, not taking protection into account.)
It sometimes feels like he trivializes some fights that rely on enemies that have high protection when you have armor piercing on all your attacks plus a super high chance to crit anyway.

Might I also suggest a nerf to his trinkets that apply more bleed/blight?
It may be fair to cancel the ability to fire bleeding arrows when using the blight buff trinket, and vice-versa when using the bleed buff trinket.

sooo I confirm that the Fury also works like that. Click button then click char to change mode. Hmmm Ignore my comments then, it is working as expected, just not as I expected it :D :D

hmmm ignore this. I remember a long time ago when clicking on a button like that changed the mode but here it seems that I have to click the button and then click the character to make it change mode. I wonder if the fury also works like that. Is that new ? I am sure I played classes a long time ago with mode change that did not require clicking the button and then the character.

@Cat yes. it does not seem to be due to the Bowman. I just tried the Fury as well and the button that allows to change mode when under 66% hp is also not working there. I have a lot of other mods, no error showing up at all, just that any class so far that allow changing mode seem not to work. Any idea where I could look at ? Thanks
