WHY YOU CAN'T MAKE THEM IN 1 PACK
I’m most likely not going to add anything. I think this approach is so glitchy and time consuming that it would be better to start over, but I don’t have any plans to work on scrap mechanic mods.
I’m sorry for abandoning the mod and not responding, but it’s probably staying that way.
i wanna make piston engine powered things (already tried planes but i cant seem to make a engine thats fast enough for it or the engine is so strong the gears skip)
It's hard to work with since middle gear is 2 blocks wide what means it's half a block to each side so you cannot directly connect it to the others. You have to use the blueprints where the middle gear is on one axle with the others as "converter" Plan some more space to your creations... you can also use a connector and a bearing to rotate the middle gear against the others but this is a bit clunky because of the none 90 degrees angle. Better only do this if there's only low speed and low torque.
Because of the fine mechanics better do not connect the gears to wobbly parts like pistons if you can avoid it... if you do they might glitch and stop working. Avoid high torque and speeds in general.
It's an awesome mod. :-D
