can you make a file with all of the better item mods in one file

this is a really cool item, but im actually a fan of the OG book of secrets. any chance we could get this effect as a separate modded book?

Is it intended to use more than 4 charges if overcharged? Had 6 green + 2 yellow charges and i still got down to two green.

I love the treasure hunt aspect of this active item, a really great idea doesn't just feel like I gotta use it and just forget about it.

This is a super cool mod, but damn is it powerful. It's up there with Satanic Bible. Maybe have it be a weight 4

I think it's funny how revealing the ultra secret room is usually pointless, but made useful for giving info about the reward room.

I'll agree with mister emoticon face there, passively showing the secret/super secret is a bit much.

Perhaps a distance benefit would be to show the secret (first), super secret (second), and ultra secret (third) room if you are more than 5 rooms away when you use the book. That way it can help you figure out how far away you are from the book of secrets reward, while not passively giving overly powerful info right away. If you want the secret room info, you may want to move away from the book's secret, or go for it and accept not getting the reveal on secret rooms potentially.

That's reasonable criticism. And a good idea for a change, I'll definitely consider it.
But I'm still not sure how strong the book actually is just yet. Will probably hold back on making changes until I've had a run or two where I encounter it naturally, or if I get more feedback like yours.

This is an awesome idea for this item, but passively showing secret rooms on top of its main function is a bit too OP. Maybe tone it down to having a chance of showing a random secret room (normal or super) upon use?
