Tl;dr: The only way people will play these maps is if OWI chooses to incorporate it into the official game. It's how Anvil and Lashkar got picked up AFAIK, and then there's the whole of Canadian Armed Forces, which is also a Mod that got absorbed

@JF The issue is nobody would play it unless it's part of a massive overhaul.

The average SQUAD player seems to be allergic to downloading singular custom maps.
Even though you can download/install through the game itself, they have proven *incredibly* anal-retentive and picky about it. Likely because a lot of the newer generation of SQUAD players have the attention span of a goldfish and won't try something unless their favorite Youtuber covers it

Believe me, I would LOVE to play some of Gunslinger's masterpieces such as this or Wake Island, as well as other beautiful works made by other mod-authors(Such as Liareng Islands or Gulf of Oman), but it's just not going to happen. There's no motivation to keep supporting these custom maps if no-one will ever give them a chance

Please revive this map, vanilla squad needs more places to fight for!

Serious comment: This is the worst performing map in live games currently as of 09/18/2021.
RTX 3090, i9 10900k, 32GB RAM DDR4 3600 and NVME SSD. So the issue occurs during live matches with 90-100 players. Saw my lowest FPS ever in Squad pretty consistently. 40-50 fps when flying around over the center of the map. Is it possible this map has a memory leak or poor optimization?

Awesome map, but the windows need to be fixed. You can shoot in from outside, but not vice versa. Absolutely fantastic map otherwise and should be added to the full game

Eh I wish I could play mods, I play via GeForce Now so no mods for me and even if I could I would not be able to appreciate the true beauty of the map due to streaming the game.
