Love the diagram you made showing the different sections of your ship and labeling it
Paws_Shadewood 17 Sep, 2014 @ 4:13pm
Love your ship.
HappyslappedByABrit 8 Sep, 2014 @ 3:43pm
This is actually my most favourite ship I've piloted yet. Beautiful all over
Braus 22 Jun, 2014 @ 6:12am
Love your ships designs Norseman. Clean lines, well laid out, fits very nicely with survival worlds since they aren't laced with gyros and hundreds of large reactors and thrusters.
nofred56 12 May, 2014 @ 4:45pm
Posh, love the airlock idea. It's Great.
jtgibson 12 May, 2014 @ 12:12am
Actually, having knocked down a wall here or there, I figured out the best spot for access doors to the nacelles is actually on top of the catwalk, one block ahead of the corner (two blocks away from the engineering supplies containers) and one block behind the reactor fueling port, with a single stair on the inside of the nacelle leading from the door. Works beautifully!
jtgibson 12 May, 2014 @ 12:04am
I will note that there are no maintenance hatches to access the nacelle interiors, even though they're hollow. It would actually be pretty convenient to have a door there so you can repair them from the inside. Deleting a single Interior Wall under each catwalk in the engineering space and replacing it with a door works perfectly for that purpose (although for whatever reason you have to switch to first-person to be able to walk under the slat platforms, since in third person you'll bump into it -- not sure why a collision sphere should change depending on view mode, but that's an alpha for you =)).

The double-thick hull and twin hulls in a couple locations also strikes me as adding a bit of unnecessary mass and/or being wasted hull volume.

Otherwise, phenomenal!

OMG best space ship ever!!!!!!!!!! It'sjust a simple design not to big like all those others. Love it!!!
Comrade Little One 9 May, 2014 @ 5:45pm
this looks awesome for armageddon mode
Sagittarivs 9 May, 2014 @ 11:11am
Great job!
General Awesome 8 May, 2014 @ 9:22pm
Great ship, but one thing. The shutters inside the hall stop you from walking.
Mommy'sPeePot 8 May, 2014 @ 1:04pm
Reminds me of Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. Great job on the design!
Irony Man 8 May, 2014 @ 7:28am
Amazing! I'm gonna weaponize it as soon as possible.
Much 8 May, 2014 @ 4:37am

If this is a diplomatic ship than where is the ambassador?!
Hotshot  [author] 6 May, 2014 @ 11:10pm
Drat. It's always something!
Reverend Revenant 6 May, 2014 @ 10:53pm
Excellent design and backstory! I love it when people do that. I can't help but notice you spelled "repercussions" wrong though. Keep it up!
Hotshot  [author] 6 May, 2014 @ 7:59pm
Hey, guys, check it out! The devs have showcased the Envoy on their website! [www.space-engineers.net]! Don't forget to register there either. A centralized Space Engineers community can only be a good thing! :tec:

fuel out no power
♫ erikhale gaming 🐺 6 May, 2014 @ 5:56pm
wow nice ship by a way when fuel solar power may back up
System Synger 6 May, 2014 @ 5:43pm
Surprisingly well thought-out, although it has a distressing lack of breaking thrust.
Hotshot  [author] 6 May, 2014 @ 4:55pm
While as a rule the Envoys I provide to the Diplomatic Corps are unarmed (as required by their own rules and regulations), individual members of the Corps are encouraged to modify their paint scheme (and other aspects) however they see fit. It is not unheard of to come across a diplomatic vessel sporting "self-defense" turret systems.
Gazgutz 6 May, 2014 @ 4:23pm
Function and form. Love it. Does really need turrents for asteroid defense, but that could be done as an "upgrade"....
Glorbo 6 May, 2014 @ 3:21pm
simple and sleek design, this is now one of my personal favorites! what i love is that it feels like a real ship, its sleek its not a huge behemoth and the interior looks really nice! it feels like more of a personal yacht what would be nice to have for this is another version with just a couple self defence turrets just in case the ship comes under attack
Mik97t 6 May, 2014 @ 8:38am
nice looking ship, i love the little glas view area under it :)
Hotshot  [author] 6 May, 2014 @ 7:49am
@Heavyarms: Put a link in the description to this page and all should be well. :)
[WJTK] TheBearJew 6 May, 2014 @ 7:42am
hey i have this ship in my world, but we also want to uplod our world to the workshop, with your permissiopn is we state in the bio thast some of the ship designes are other peoples would u be ok with that ?
CrashCanuck 6 May, 2014 @ 7:32am
Love the overall design, I was able to refit the observation dome on the underside into a bomb bay, and it works well
Blue Moon 6 May, 2014 @ 3:37am
looks like the lego explorer. i think i'm in love.
Andrew, King of the Britons 6 May, 2014 @ 3:31am
Looks very Ancient Warshippy
Hotshot  [author] 5 May, 2014 @ 6:15pm
Seems to me that would conflict with it's recognized use as a diplomatic vessel... Surely only an engineer of a truly dastardly character would attempt such a thing. ;)
Radman 5 May, 2014 @ 5:56pm
this ship make a great looking carrier with the rooms stripped out, and no one would suspect it.
Hotshot  [author] 5 May, 2014 @ 3:32pm
You raise a valid point there, Sigma! I'll get on it. And thanks, guys!
M1cr0man 5 May, 2014 @ 1:48pm
An inspiring background story, bundled with a worthy ship. Favourited.
Leah 5 May, 2014 @ 1:11pm
Damn that's nice, can't wait for them to add decorative blocks and see how people use them.

One thing that strikes me as odd though, the shutters/grates are behind the windows. If they're meant to be curtains or blinds that's a good idea, but if they're a shield from asteroids then they should be in front of the glass.
armymendu68 5 May, 2014 @ 9:14am
beaucoup de bonne idée, bien jouer
Hotshot  [author] 4 May, 2014 @ 4:35pm
Je vous remercie beaucoup pour vos aimables paroles! And thanks, guys. I'm feeling the love!
Kube 4 May, 2014 @ 2:22pm
i swear, the norseman is one of the best ship builders ive seen so far, not because his ships are big, but because they are extremely high quality and detailed

keep up the great work
Solastar 4 May, 2014 @ 12:28pm
da-dayum! Good looking ship sir!
Viff 4 May, 2014 @ 2:42am
