I did some rework to make this usable in RE2. I removed the layer of blocks where the solar panels have been and put hardened steel blocks in. This frees up some space below and additionaly I removed carbon blocks below to fit in 8 turbines (4+4) above the hangar area.
Sadly it looks not too nice inside but it works.

The Solar Wanderer is sadly completely brocken and dont fit the new damage system at all. I really liked that CV as a starter.

But the Janus comes with hardened steel on the outer hull.
I think I will replace the upper front windows with armoured windows too.

For usability in the midgame game in RE2, I dont know.

But for safer early exploring and and as a mobile base it should work.

And it still looks fantastic :)

I've been using this ship for a number of weeks now, and it's great ship to work with and modify. Thank you for making it, it's a very good looking and functioning ship. I renamed her Janice though since I kept calling it that. With my additions she looks a bit like a magnet you threw into a box of scrap parts as it has maxed out big and small mobile solar now, but she's been a lovely ship. Thx again.

I used this ship to visit every faction's territory in RE. Before I had endgame warp too. Thousands of LYs. 100's of jumps. Got her stuck on plasma and midnight planets. Built my way off both times. Ended up with a high gravity endgame Janus. Captured turrets all over it. I then turned it into a miner after all that. Best ship I ever had.

I plan to use it again.

Concerning airleak, there are currently some shenanigans going on with airtightness. Might have to have a look at it.

I am using this ship.I found an air leak where the front ramp is . I fixed it by removing the ramp and putting a wall and door between the constructor and ellavater and that fixed the leak.I like the Janus

Heh thanks striker. Feel free to educate me, I am always happy to learn a bit on military stuff. ;)

That said, the stuff I build is more fueled by whatever I just consider cool to build at the specific moment and not on what a "real life space military" would need.

Forbidden blocks fixed.

Reforged Eden just changed CV Solar panels, the old ones now are forbidden. Will do a fix later this day.

Nice ship, lots of fluff which is excellent. Your escape pods remind me of a Reptilious build where he actually had a functional escape pod for a CV.
