Well, when i updated it for 1.8 i thought i marked it as 1.8.0 and up, but apparently not. Still, this is just a warning with no gameplay impact.
And updating it manually would require me to edit mod files, installing the game and updating mods from ingame mod publisher. I am not doing any of that. Sorry.

Can't you mark it as 1.8.0 and up ? Isn't there a way to do that ?

@Nirahiel Should be compatible with any version above 1.8. I just really can't be bothered to update mods so they wont show compatibility warning ingame.

Hello, this mod appears to be broken with Blue Mars, with the first research perfectly overlapping with the windmills research on the screen. I'm also having an issue not being able to research ports, but I'm not able to verify it is this mod that is causing the issue.

chronosphaenon, yes this is not technically a bug, but a modding limitation. I have no way to fix it unless devs expand on modding.

Small bug: if you research Upgraded Factories before the tech added by this mod, the upgraded (Lvl 2) version will appear on factory construction menu.

I've found the solution, looks like they changed it so the tile in the tech tree is no longer placed by the x, y co-ordinates but by a pre-determined grid position.

The bottom row of the grid in the engineering branch for example is position: 3

Hi Psycho, I hope you are still about. I get an error when starting a new campaign with this mod, it tells me at row 25 is is expecting scalar not mappingstart. I get a similar error with the deep underground mod as well (tried loading them seperately as well as on their own). Are you still actively modding for this game ? I think they must have changed how they reference the tech tree in one of the version releases. But a guess as I know nothing about YAML or coding in general.

Chech if you researched tech in Engineering category, after that you can find new buildings in Factories category.
