I got to say it: These things are stupidly overpowered. I love them :D
To be honest, it gets a littlebit boring, because no one is ever going to make it near your base... but you can turn them off, so...
I love this game, but i am still not really good at it. So this helps me alot, keeping my base and colonists alive :) But you ahould really turn them off from time to time to have somekind of a challenge.
Great mod though, even if it`s braking the game. Its just fun watching your enemies getting vaporized when they just enter the map.

Great mod though, can easily decimate a 9000 point raid with 7 turrets.

Could you please fill in the PackageID in the about file. The Rimpy mod manager keeps removing it from the mod list because it's not there. (Loads fine with vanilla mod manager though.)

Used this in a Winston Waves run as a test. Built a huge circle and put 16 of these placed evenly around the perimeter. My game crashed because it couldn't handle 500+ man raids. This turret was able to clean up a 400-500 man raid in just a matter of seconds. Might be considered a bit OP.

Alright so it's the usual raid situation, everyone is in position. And the raiders slowly enter into the kill zone, except this was quite literally a kill zone. Basically I placed a basic turbo laser down, and my colonists didn't even get a chance to even see the enemy. This mod is legit gonna keep my colony alive lol.:steamthumbsup:

Love the Mod. Anyway to add an option to the Mod Menu to tone them down? The Ap Defense turret could use a bit of a re-balance.

what is the research for this called? if its just turbo lasers then i cant seem to find it anywhere in my research tree or any mention of it. Does it need to go nearer the bottom of load order? Really wana use this mod so any ideas i can try would be very appreciated.

You need to add <drawerType>MapMeshAndRealTime</drawerType> in the three BuildingBase to make it display the turrets and rotate them in 1.3 update.

@Spoonman9441 Technically, yes, it still works. The guns fire, but, the turrets themselves do not display. I figure it has something to do with the rendering changes done to Rimworld in the 1.3 update.

Is it possible to make a non explosive variant of these turrets? I quite love the potential behind them but it's hard to take prisoners when there are literally no remains of even a 100 person raid with just a few of them.
