Confirmed, this mod breaks the UI, specifically on the Councilors screen, you are unable to appoint anyone as the list does not populate. Do not have "less old wives" installed, so it is impossible for that mod to be at fault.

@Zarathustra Adding to your findings. I have tried it in isolation. This mod in the current update does break the UI in a significant way. The most obvious thing is that marriages are no longer displayed correctly, characters are married to themselves.

I love this kind of mod, along with CTP. When I finally heard that CTP was officially abandoned, I dedicated hours to learn modding, only to find out days later the project was being continued under a new name. May I know the status of NPE? Last DD on NPE is 8 months old.

I know I can't help much, but I'm willing to join and read the discussion about this project but I can't find the Expanded Discord link anywhere.

I know this mod isn't being worked on any longer as it's planned for a mayor re-work, so I'm not expecting a fix, but just a heads-up for anyone like me who have kept using this through a couple of updates anyway...
It now breaks the UI in a couple of places. The worst bit is that you can't assign councelors, but you also can't see the stats of potential marriages or minor title-holders.
I haven't tried it in isolation, so it might be it interacting badly with another mod in my list though, but if you get these issues this mod might be the problem.

I think this mod makes it so arab characters cant change to local culture via decision, I had to cheat to make my characters change to the local culture, cuz I cant click the decision button anymore, but I can with non arab characters. Haven't tested it with Norse, Persian or Gaelic characters yet though

Is there a way to pick a laqab manually? Been trying to get a specific one, took me 15 minute to get it. Also, is there a way to replace or delete a laqab?

I’m also one guy working on the Arabic names. Always happy to receive additional help on this as this list is in need of expansion (as well as the list of shared traditional Islamic names), as long as folks can manage to avoid the trap of adding names that didn’t appear as isms until the early modern period.

I'm also having the issue where seemingly random characters' names will show up as gibberish like "Rorekr_nor_dad_Olafr" etc. I love the mod and it's rare enough that it's not a huge deal, but it does spoil the immersion for a minute whenever it pops up :)

There's our discord. I already started implementing Turkish names in, however we would definitely want help translate the middle eastern names across all 3 of the major groups we have: Persian, Arabic, Turkish

Well yeah, but I mean you can use a debug toggle mod add get the tooltip stuff by turning on debug

With fresh install of this mod, and only using this one mod, my debug.log file was 6400 kb.

With no mods at all, and the same 15 seconds of gameplay, the debug.log file was 240 kb.

there is no \replace\ folder in the default code. It is only found in your mod, and this is where the error messages are coming from.

your mod may well work perfectly fine despite these error logs, I just thought you might be interested

well, if i run the game for a short bit while having your mod as the only mod, in my debug.log file, located in C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\logs

I see thousands of lines of:

I am getting a lot (many thousands) of "defined in multiple files" messages in my debug.log which are originating from this mod.
