This is just a test if I can get it running.
Please do me the favor and test if the map "1F" of Steel Wind does allow travelling to "2F" for you as well.
If so and if you are interested, I will return to make remake... :)
I just want Raven Shield remade in HD. I'll die happy.
Unfortunately I can't get hands on the maps anymore (my original CDs are gone and I can't find the maps anywhere on the nets...) - luckily the original RB6 was still available on GOG...
Anyways, thanks for the memories haha.
The tga file format with transparency does not work properly.
In the end, I am better off with PS for the moment.
But if you want to, use GIMP, set two layers:
- background (transparent, fill white, make opacy to 10%)
- walls (transparent, walls of any color)
The actual background image (floor, carpets, etc) can be saved as additional png and set up as Static Entity with layer height 0 or 1
I silently hope that the DK guys get away to png only for background, walls (sight) and collision with split images.
But I highly doubt it as this would cause major pain on other sides...
