Wow, wasn't expecting this mod to get updated again. It's been almost three years since it received an update. Just a few minor changes and an updated thumbnail pic. It's a shame you guys never fixed the bugs mentioned by IRBcallMeFynn that they commented on August 29th, 2021. For the former, just drop Pool Dice or remove it with debug commands. And for the latter, just whip out a Soul of Isaac and pop it

encountering a bug since installing this: it seems using any active item (tested with Krampus' Rage and D6 so far) causes an "incorrect" buzzing sound and the playersad animation

of course its broken, it's a quality 4 item dumbass

i love the magic dice, but holy god its broken. atleast make it reduce your hearts too, instead of only giving broken hearts, or give it a chance to get a quality 4 item, and usually give 2 or 3 quality

amazing mod, but im having trouble ingame using it right now. The magic dice wont work, I dont know if theres like some command you need to run or im just pressing the wrong buttons.

Two bugs I'd like to report with this mod. Both with Tainted Isaac (Probably happens in other places, too).
-Pool Dice prevents switching selected item (likely prevents cycling through T. Cain's Pickups too)
-Dsnuts (and possibly other dice) don't cycle through multiple items as T. Isaac (probably also apply to Isaac w/ Birthright, Glitched Crown, and Everything Jar pedestals)

changes the level curse to a different one and rerolls items to "cursed" items only

The mod is super cool my only suggestion would be that if you use the magic dice with the lost the dice should either break after one use or not be usable at all

Magic Dice made me so happy istg... after hundreds of attempts, i finally beat Mother with The Lost thanks to its effect! friendship ended with Book of Shadows and Psy Fly, Magic Dice is my new best friend. 11/10 best mod i've ever had

I changed the item pools for myself, thought I might as well share it:
* D50: Treasure, Crane Game
* D5: Treasure, Crane Game
* Fudge Dice: Treasure, Crane Game, Shop (0.5 Weight)
* Mobius Dice: Treasure, Crane Game
* Glass Dice: Treasure, Shop (0.5 Weight)
* Magic Dice: Crane Game, Red Chest, Curse, Secret
* Pool Dice: Treasure, Crane Game
* Dsnuts: Secret

Explanations:
* Crane Game: Almost all dice are currently in the Crane Game Pool.
* Fudge Dice: I included this in the Shop as it's failure state makes it similar to Crooked Penny.
* Glass Dice: I didn't put this into Crane Game because in real life they are a bit too decorative and instead fit in a Shop.
* Magic Dice: I decided to mimic Magic Skin's item pools while throwing it into the Crane Game pool as it's Dice.
* Dsnuts: I feel like due to how powerful this is and that it doesn't get rid of itself when it explodes. It's potential is too high for it to be anything but a Secret item (especially if used with
Dead Cat).

Probably because D6 is already an extremely good spacebar item, so trying to make an item strictly as good is adding more extremely good items which is maybe not for the best. The item adds a new unique playstyle and that alone justifies it in my eyes, variance in runs is what makes roguelikes fun. Plus unlike the d6 and ed6, you cannot try and roll the pedestal many times so the charge time is not really that relevant to how good it is.

I am curious though how this works with shops and devil deals. Does it steal from the shop? Or does it turn the item in the shop blind, or can you use it mid pickup like void/abyss now can do, or does it not work at all.

Why is the D50 strictly the D6 but worse? Why not give it a slightly lower charge? It's like the Eternal D6, which is also "D6 but with a downside" and that item has much lower charge and arguably a less bad downside.

maybe, ive been making other resprites so i might bundle the dice with a future resprite mod

if you're using just the name and not the sprite i suppose so, though you can also always name it D(insert any other number)

im one of the developers of the upcoming project and i thought of d50, i found this before finding this mod, i want d50 to either bump or make item worth, basically when you have a penny you could reroll it into a dime or gold bomb into a single bomb

Just for the record softineon, it's not that I don't like them, it's that I have another mod already installed that changed the dice already. I wanted to use that one for new sprites, but yours for the new dice! :-D

@solamon you can just delete the pngs in the resources folder if you dont fancy them

D50 should have less charges so it isn't just worse D6, 4 would be better (unless you can use in the shop/ devil deal)
