@Apocrypha I don't understand what you mean by unable to group? Are you referring to the team function? If so, that works perfectly well on my end.

Great mod, i just created new sprites that look better in my opinion can i send them to you? PS: Can we get Cleaned up Version with spikes replaced by soft earth?

Like the other people who've come to this thread, i've sent you two friend requests on Steam. You can accept if you want and let me know of any problems you have in the future, or any requests you might have.

Depending on the complexity, I may or may not give it a shot.

However, as this was just intended to be a re-upload, I must remind you that I am not a regular modder, nor do I have the tools needed to make sprites for new units/abilities.

@Nika Izanami , dunno, it shouldn't be a problem with the individual mods, it's probably just the mod list. Sorry to hear that.

But on the topic of worker vs fighter... even vanilla options have that? I remember running a Necro and had skeleton workers that would still fight... So it really throws me off that they had it separated like that. Regardless, if you did fix it, that's pretty rad. One of the pseudo exploits I would love doing with this particular mod is using the golem spawn rule to farm up early stone... Spawn the 1 or 2 free golems, kill them, collect the stone, rinse repeat to get an early start on traps and reformatting caves etc.

Again, I haven't actually played in a long while. Sorry for the confusion. On the topic of equipment slots, you could technically look at any file for vanilla units to try and see what the code could be for equipment slots. That *might* help. But, unlike you, I have never actually looked at the code for this game. So I am unsure of how it is even set up. It's just an idea that came to mind from experience of rewriting code for some other games.

Well that's the thing, golems don't attack unless you manually control them to :o
They have even more issues than the automatons do lol.

Besides, with the Golems able to team, train, and equip items, early-game Automatons shouldn't be much of an issue anymore. Golems should be able to be useful up until Advanced Automatons now anyway.

This, combined with the fact that there is little to no documentation for KeeperRL modding, and it makes for a very long, head-ache inducing process, where I'd have to download different mods and cross-reference what they're doing to understand whats working and why it works.

Well, yes, but i'm not a modder. I know just enough that I can maintain and update mod-files that are already created, but I have no idea how to create my own mod files, so I dont know how to change the Automatons. I had the same grievances as you, to be honest, with the equipment slots of Automatons, I simply just dont know how to change them.

Well ya, but isn't that the point of a mod? To change those little things? Regardless, it's not like I've played any time recently. Hell, I only looked at the mods I was sub'd to because a buddy just picked up the game and I was gonna recommend them. Then I saw the issue on the original post and this post. So figured I'd ask lol. No requirements, demands, or otherwise. Just curious if you'd be willing to do it (and if willing, if you can).

@Angel I may have fixed the Golems, however, your issue with the Automatons isn't part of this mod. That is from the base-game of KeeperRL.

So... In the off chance that the mod maker is just... gone. Do you plan to work on this at all? Because I left comments on the original that never got addressed. Namely the behavior of the golems and the equipment slots of most minion types etc.
If not, oh well.
