As far as the map concept and terraforming goes, it's great! I really like the concept of the map, and it was easy to navigate.
However, why it doesn't work is because we can't force the player to wear boots that don't allow them to run away from battle. Your maze was easily conquered by simply holding down the two shoulder buttons on my Xbox 360 controller.
This is no fault of your own, but rather of the limitations of the mapmaker. For your creativity alone, and the fun I had with the map without cheating the system, I will give you a thumbs up. Keep making more maps. Cheers!
