Was this intended to work on front line? Custom only shows up on other game modes in skirmish :/ Would love some long drawn out front-line matches :)

At Yami[am I really responding to Ai?] - That's the USO feature that requires a companion mod which is not being updated at the moment. I hope to work on it at some point in the future when not so busy with other matters.

@rookmarduk. Apologies. I misread your post. You're referring to Unit Set Options feature which requires a companion mod that is out of date. Work on that mod is currently on hold since the files involved require are time-intensive to keep up to date. Aside from the bot files, the rest of the mod files appear unaltered in the v1.053 update. Additionally, my mod uploader stopped working so it'll take some time before I can post another update. Try running it without using the Unit Set Options feature.

The new steam patch that dropped today for gate of hell ver. 1.053 looks to have broke this mod. When loading a game the menu options on the right for selecting units is less content and missing special units now. Deactivating this mod results in the game options returning. Can you please review to see what in the latest version of the core game patch broke this mon's functionality?

@Domio - The USO option requires the USO companion mod to function, but sadly, it has not been updated. That features involves files that go through fairly significant changes and additions with each game version and I currently don't have time to work on it.

Yes. CP and DP are tied to the same setting. I don't have a way to change that. All I could do was increase the number of CP options to add additional DP choices.

For example, you'll see an option for: 100 CP / 100 DP which is an option from the original game followed by 100 CP / 0 DP [LSB] which this mod adds. Does that answer your question?

The GoH devs are yet to release custom definitions for the frontlines game mode. These definitions require an extensive amount of tuning to get the balance right. Frontlines game mode is so distinct I can't simply borrow the definitions from one of the other modes. So we have to wait for that to be released. The framework is there, so it'll come eventually.

For the moment, LSB mod only increases the preparation time tolerances, which means you can have up to 60 minutes to prepare for the battle (vanilla game only allows up to five minutes). Be aware that this wrecks balance in favor of the defender, but that's your call.
Note: preparation time and game time run concurrently and at the moment, there is no way to increase the maximum allowed game time of 2 hours. So the difference between game time and preparation time is the time you have to actually fight the battle.

@tomastomas754 - USO requires a companion mod to function which hasn't been updated. No plans to work on it until after the Japanese/Italion release.

@sharkk12 - 'Custom (No XP gain)' is not a button. It is an option under Game Settings.

Hey, I made an updated version of [USO]. Currently it only affects the Late Era for both Germany and Russia, but I'll get to the Early and Mid Eras soon. I also don't own the DLC yet, so can't really look into that stuff quite yet.

Feedback would be welcome. Here's the mod. I don't have an image or anything for it yet, but tried to get all the info on the page.

I was playing Battle Zones, but didnt pay much attention to the timer. I assume not turning off the lose at zero points option is what caused the round to end. As I said it would end between 150-200 victory points reached and the round were really quick. Like not enough to unlock the second row of doctrine units. But maybe one side just ran out of points

@Sassy. What game mode are you playing? Any mode other than battle zones will end when the timer zeroes out. They still haven't given modders access to disabling that.

Yes, unchecking "Lose at zero points" option will allow play to continue until max set VP is reached. I made the slide prior to that option being added. Thanks for the reminder to update it.

I assume I have to also turn off the "Lose at zero points" option ? Cause no matter what I do with the options, the game ends one team gets around 150 to 200 victory points, no matter the other settings

Updated to 1.047. It is now compatible with last stand, but it's currently not possible to extend the timer beyond 120 minutes.
