If accel is a positive value, it is forward, and if it is negative, it is backward.(control with the w/s key)
When you press the 1key(rev) will be to reverse.

If I am not mistaken the locomotive is the cousins to the D51 locomotives that also ran in the JGR/JNR

There is one issue with this, the side rods break every time I use it.

Judging by these steam locomotives they must of worked for the JGR/JNR during their service
