I can't say anything about this mod, I haven't tried it.
Would the Advanced AI Command 2 mod work?
Thanks for this tremendous work.
Yes, I'm still making AC scenarios.
Right now I'm working on one about Normandy in '44.
In the future, there will probably be something about WWII, maybe Vietnam, if SGD releases a new terrain/terrains.
Maybe about the Cold War in Europe, if Vertexmacht releases new factions or terrain.
There are also a couple of projects in a modern setting in Eastern Europe. But they are on hold indefinitely.
Initially, when the CDLC's project was announced, we were promised content no worse than premium DLC from Bohemia itself. It had to be original content. But in the end, we have only one CDLC completely independent of Bohemia's assets.
Well, I didn't like it.
I really appreciate the authenticity and attention to detail. Spearhead uses a large number of inappropriate objects from Livonia, Chernarus and even Altis, various sheds and houses from Poland, buildings of clearly Slavic origin. There is even a railway bridge with red stars from Chernarus. In my opinion, this is unacceptable for a paid DLC.
The Germans are not voiced, their swastika is censored, which is very stupid.
I don't think this will be fixed in the future, in this form I will not buy this DLC.
The problem with the AI behavior on this map has to do with... the map itself. Therefore, unfortunately, it cannot be solved in any way. I spent a lot of time optimizing, but achieved a very limited result. The terrain is too difficult for Arma's AI and it acts on it in general very badly. I have to admit that this is literally the worst of all my scenarios and I even wanted to delete it:D But, I did not do this, since many people liked it. By the way, Battle of Khe Sanh and Rivers of Blood work much better.
Regarding the list of units / support, it cannot be fixed yet. But, in subsequent updates of the AC mod itself, it will be possible to scroll the list.
Yes, BLUFOR's list of units/support is indeed larger than what actually fits on the screen. This does not affect playability in any way, AI can use all assets without restrictions, but part of the aircraft is not available to the player. I compiled the list with a reserve for the future, the mod is being actively developed, the interface, as far as I know, will change and it is likely that the list can be scrolled.
Does it disappear completely or do you mean that it partially goes beyond the screen?
When requisitioning units (buying them) the list goes out of the screen, and as far as i tried, i can't scroll.
