tbh, i like the damascus steel mod in which you actually get the sword and not just a trait more
august_ekstrom 28.4.2024 klo 22.43
Wha bloodlines from bloodlines only mod allows me to reforge to an ancient one?
FenSimargl 1.5.2023 klo 14.12
What are the tags for the sword traits? I tried for example "add_trait gram" but it didn't work
Goldilocksguy 27.4.2023 klo 11.21
Does this add artifacts or is it just traits?
daniel.allen96 25.2.2021 klo 17.29
The Character with the sword died, and now the trait is gone
Watcher9 27.11.2020 klo 9.07
@corbdog15 you might as well call it 6 years
Mr_Awesome88 24.4.2020 klo 14.55
this still work?
BurgerWizard 29.1.2020 klo 14.08
Fun Fact!

Damascus Steel had CARBON NANOTUBES in them...

That's right, CARBON FUCKING NANOTUBES
BoiledInPilk 28.8.2019 klo 7.31
since you must go on a pilgrimage does that mean you can't do this in the base game?
Dorimi 王狼  [tekijä] 19.8.2019 klo 22.20

Foternicus Mareley 19.8.2019 klo 20.00
@sdp0et Few months? You mean 5 years?
Hiluxium 3.5.2019 klo 18.28
Works in 3.1

needs more Chunchunmaru
sdp0et 16.4.2019 klo 16.03
I haven't noticed any issues with 3.1. This is one of the few mods I use that doesn't give me problems after going without an update for a few months.
Drax70 15.4.2019 klo 14.19
Is this updated with 3.1 or I will have strange things in my game like @Digital Fox stated?

Thanks!
geigda 27.11.2018 klo 13.59
what version is this for?
ArchAngelOsis 20.10.2018 klo 3.24
so you are saying that king got his arthur dayne on..bug the syntax wasnt right lol
Digital Fox 17.9.2018 klo 15.49
Playing as Wessex and made a Damscus steel sword, then turned it into the sword of mercy. I Passed it onto a son and then my king died. However the new king died soon after and it passed to a sister (Which I didn't know at the time). Thinking that I'd lost it I eventually got another Damascus sword and made it into the Sword of Mercy again.

This is where the bug comes. When the Princess died it got passed to my King who already has a sword of mercy. I don't know wherever the two are connected, but now my Kings name has changed to His title, first name, then nick_the _sword_of_the_morning (King Elfwine nick_the _sword_of_the_morning) which just makes him sound like a thief who stole a famous sword lol.

That king died and the name bug passed down to his heir to. Any ideas on a fix?
Mr.Cabbuge 2.8.2018 klo 6.07
I loveit!
However I would like to ask if it is possible to treat it as an artifact, rather than a character trait?
Dias 10.6.2018 klo 9.11
duncan stop posting this bullshit please
and jesus Christ how can this be possible
Delusional_Thomas 23.4.2018 klo 7.26

Polish_Milk 14.4.2018 klo 13.18
Is this mod give you items to artefact colection?
Polish_Milk 14.4.2018 klo 13.17
Is this mod work with already started games?
Miss Hödekin 26.2.2018 klo 7.05
Uupdate the game is now adapted to this
Erate 21.1.2018 klo 19.41
I Was Using This With The Historical Bloodlines Mod, As Well As Claim Your Ancestory, And The Mods Celtic Music And Forg Your Own Dynasty II, And Some Random Territories Were Being Assigned As "No Character" Rather Than The Normal People It Belongs To, But Only In The High Middle Ages Start Date.
Chimboucha 6.1.2018 klo 16.08
IS THIS COMPATIBLE WITH CK2Plus. I am planning to use it but not sure if it will mess up the game or not.
Pavelo 25.11.2017 klo 8.54
@danielprates They are pretty much artifacts but instead of being an actual artifact they are trait and so your ruler cannot equip but can be given
graublau 25.11.2017 klo 8.26
So this is not 2.8-compatible I take it? :/
BlakeIrons 4.10.2017 klo 2.34
@Dorimi Yeah, it is. I kind of feel like it inspired the current artifact system that was added to the game.
Voryn Dagoth Ur 26.9.2017 klo 10.26
2.7.1 compatible?
danielprates 25.9.2017 klo 13.17
To me it is not very clear if the swords of the mod are actual 'artifacts', and can be equiped, given etc.
lethal ape 28.7.2017 klo 10.29
2.7.1 compatible?
STABBY5 2.7.2017 klo 7.11
Yes, good engough for part of it to be included in the base game. The new inventory system fits this so well. I think someones done something simliar though.
Dorimi 王狼  [tekijä] 1.7.2017 klo 19.21
is it that good?
STABBY5 1.7.2017 klo 16.35
Man I wish this wasn't dead
mouse 21.4.2017 klo 17.36
Any way to make them inheritable from mother to daughter? I'm a gal and I tend to set up my non-Ironman games with women inheriting titles, and use ruler designer to start as a woman ruler.

Love the idea of this mod! Such a wonderful historical addition.
Frank 22.3.2017 klo 11.01
Wil you update it now? Artifact system looks like the perfect way for this mod to shine
The Mamasboy 22.3.2017 klo 3.10
are you going to change how this mod works to use the new artifact system
taw 19.3.2017 klo 11.52
kansleren: Due to limitations of CK2 save format you're screwed, and that's not mod's fault. Traits are saved as numbers. Mod traits come after game traits. When new patch adds traits, they will always push mod traits out, and there's nothing mods can do about it before or after patch.

You can stay on old version, accept the mess (it will only last this generation) or edit save game (which is pain without tools, and other than script I once wrote I don't know of any such tools).
kansleren 17.3.2017 klo 9.24
Hi! Long time user of several mods of yours. Can't continue playing on my latest game now, because Monks and Mystics uppdate made all of your sword/dynasty traits(ID issue?) turn my Norse Fylkir into a "secret catholic" and other misshaps. Are your working on any update for them to suit with the patch, or will I have to continue by using an earlier version?
cniht 12.3.2017 klo 20.30
@Author

I know this is older than dirt but any chance it would be updated to take advantage of the new inventory system established with Monks and Mystics now that it's out?
=AJSA= Giver of Will 13.2.2017 klo 17.58
sorry to ask again if already stated but is this compatible with CK2+
zawszejestszansa 13.2.2017 klo 5.45
can npc get a sword?
Troubles The Cat 11.12.2016 klo 18.53
Is this still working?
GunSlinGer 10.10.2016 klo 9.31
Hey there, not sure if this is still being updated, but I found an annoying bug in the mod, namely that if your heir inherits the Sword of Mercy, he automatically gets the nickname "nick_the_sword_of_the_morning", which I suppose is a rest-product from the GoT-mod that these originated from. However, by deleting those lines related to the nickname under Sword of Mercy in the on_action_events.txt, fixes the bug. Might be something of interest!
Eye of Terror 8.10.2016 klo 18.49
@Dorimi does this disable the steam achievements?
msauvear 13.8.2016 klo 2.39
New Manuel download link for this and make your own bloodline the mega keeps on saying error
Corvidae Cultist 8.8.2016 klo 9.43
What is the mod you are using for the map?
General Götterspeise 8.8.2016 klo 4.33
I have the problem that my father forged a Damascus Steel Sword, and when he abdicated, my son continued without it and forged one himself, then claimed ancient blood and made a legendary sword. Now my father died and passed the DSS on to me, how can I get rid of the extra sword?
scottytsr 29.7.2016 klo 17.12
I wish that the sword would be passed down, and not die with a ruler
lomby 17.7.2016 klo 13.05
This is a great mod! I just wish it would be compatible to the abdication mod, wich I also like. Or some decision to get the sword back.
