That's the point, it's supposed to speed up the game, not act as a cheat code.

The AI is using this! Even if you research it, they are still getting the benefits, with or without an alliance. Every AI nation's tech and production remained consistent with mine.

Only the player can research it. The AI can -steal- the technology, but they won't actually do anything with it.

Yes it does, just make sure you click and drag it to be above it in the mod load order in the main menu.

It should work with any maps. In theory it should work with anything that doesn't completely overwrite the tech tree, and even then you can just fix that by changing the load order. So yes, you can use this on the Terra Mars map.

Industry already exists in Dawn at Midnight, very similarly to how you've described it actually. Regardless, the purpose of this mod is to speed EVERYTHING up. I never intended for it to add another element to the game. I just wanted a way to play a 3 hour game in 20 minutes.

Honestly? Just make them buildings have a Industry icon and just convert it into an industry mod. For example scale the radius down a bit so they need to be placed near cities. Have them tech up and have the multiplayer increase Start @ 2x > 4x > 8x > 16x Make these buildings either REALLY expensive/cost prohibitive and make the tech be kinda expensive or get progressively higher cost; or instead the cost of the next tier of industry would assume that you would build some of the buildings. You can invest your time into an ECO but you risk getting rushed.

You can just change your saves if you want to cheat, you can set each factions research, production, tech and stockpiles, just open the 'world' file in the save folder in note.

I agree about cheats but I am only proposing them vs Ai they get pretty cheeky & treacherous anyway ;)

@Saides I've considered making a cheat version of this that only affects whoever builds the multipliers, but if I do, it's going to be a separate mod. That way, people can still be confident that this mod is still fair, even in multiplayer. That, and frankly, I personally think that cheats kind of suck the fun out of the game, but if there's a demand for it...

Is there any version of this (maybe coming in future) where the growth/speed effect is a tad more localised maybe just to one hemisphere ??
I realise that would amount to a cheat - but it wouldnt be such a mean cheat if playing against Ai

Are you running any other mods? Also, make sure that your game is up to date (V1.1.1A). If you've got other mods running, try turning all of them off and on again until you find the one that's conflicting with this one. If you still can't get anywhere, tell me what the error message says specifically, as in which specific technology can't be found, and I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.

Again, make sure it's above any other mods in the load order that affect the tech tree, like Dawn at Midnight or Parabellum.

@UnionJack Make sure that DaM and this mod are both close to the top of your mod list in-game. Make sure that this mod is ABOVE Dawn at Midnight, otherwise DaM will override the tech tree and this mod won't work. After that, you should be able to scroll down to the very bottom of the tech tree and find it as 'Global GDP controls'. If it's still not showing up for some reason, just move this mod to the very top of the mod load order. Give that a try and tell me how it goes.
