Nice map :)
other small things such as:
titnable skybox, seeing skybox within hammer, spray tools, etc are amazing
its nothing compared to source 1 hammer
You can easily resize any model with no flaws within hammer as if it was a normal block

the thing about my gm_storealley map is that i expected it to maybe get like 100 subscribers ors o. nothing much as its a simple small lil alleyway with buildings map.
But no! it somehow reached frotn page3 of hte workshop sometime and currently has nearly 1000 likes (944) Which i feel is not deserved at all. That came as a huge shock to me. Its nothing compared to all the other great maps out there getting only like 400ish likes or so.
Im probably a bit TOO addicted to this game with 7313 hours on it currently
i will also be looking forward to some of YOUR new maps whenever you make any. be that source 1 or 2
Source 2 tools are amazing
you literally create a cube, Press F to invert it. place spawnpoint inside. Bam! room!
the level building is more like blender where you can extrude faces and everything.

By creating this world i create fun memories for people like i get from a ton of other maps. like finding an easteregg that no one has ever mentioned in the comments before, Doing something fun with a friend, Finding a funny detail, etc.
Did i mention i like the pinkish lightign on this map?
most of my maps are taking advantage of nighttime to hide the badly detailed worlds outsides and to make it feel more atmospheric
Im terrible and lazy with outside of play area decor and i love working with the lighting in maps
Wow this comment section has turned int oa whole big wall of text conversation now lol. so much i had to split it into 2 parts as im now realizing

i originally started learning hammer to make my own little worlds to hang out in or to play with friends, Its nice being able to think of an amazing place in your mind ans slowly manifesting that into an actual playable map on a game where you can literally do anything on said map, Its like your own reality.
It feels weird and amazing how ive inspired someone like you making these amazing maps,
the source 1 engine was a pain to learn lol
you do 1 thing VERY slightly wrong and the whole map is messed up!
replies liek these are what inspires me even more
when s&box releases im planning to make a remake of my gm_storealley map but with more space opened up and maybe some easter eggs if i can think of some.
I don\t care how bad or good my creations are i just like to make little worlds at my own pace, Its the fun and thought that counts!

The QR codes kept mentioning the sky so i decided "why not noclip up to the sky" And then i saw the odd texture from within the void near the top, I felt proud to find that one lol
i came across literally all of the spheres on accident
when the laser popped up i half-expected something to happen similar to the Volnograd map secret where you activate the little star things hidden around and a giant portal appears in the sky with epic music or something lol
i currently myself want to make more maps also but im waiting for the release of s&box and i have no idea when that will be.
i would also like to ignore the fact that we tried putting the spheres inside of the water trigger which just gently pushes the player around (or atleast i did)
